Something about the way the vocals are mixed in some of the tracks makes them pretty skippable, but the album is still good. Might tap into their next record, who knows

Injury Reserve - Drive It Like It's Stolen

Dope, no bad songs but the biggest dud was definitely boom (x3). Usually when I listen to albums, strange little production or vocal choices bring the score down, but the little things are the highlights of this EP.

twenty one pilots - Vessel

lotta shit lotta alright some great

Drake - More Life

crazy filler but the highs are his best

Ethel Cain - Preacher's Daughter

its consistently fine.

EDIT: way too long, but the highs are pretty cool.

Jon Bellion - The Human Condition

AJR - Neotheater

AJR - The Click

Sprain - The Lamb as Effigy

I ain’t making it to 30

Earl Sweatshirt - Some Rap Songs
90

I can say a total of 2 good things about this album. The vibe/setting it sets isn’t bad at all, and the bad songs are short enough for me to not fall asleep during it.

Edit: post nut clarity: the album

Black Country, New Road - For the first time
90

Easily bc,nrs worst record, but it’s a good start for sure. Tracks like sunglasses and Track X show major potential for what’s to come in the future, but I can’t help but feel like they took a little too much inspiration from Black Midi.

Edit: though their worst, it’s not by much. Everything here is solid and anything that can sound similar to their contemporaries sounds unique enough to keep it from feeling derivative.

Random Encounters - Fnaf the Musical (Original Soundtrack)
69

currently listening this 100 is a placeholder

Night 1: pure cinema but too many cuts in between the song. Daddy Mark can sing though
Night 2: absolute peak no jokes Marky Warky is my goat
Night 3: who is this? this isnt Marky Warky, MID
Night 4: mark washing nate like nicki washes jay on monster. 50% for mark -50% for nate
Night 5: yall ever think about what life would be like if you didn't exist

very cool!

JPEGMAFIA & Danny Brown - SCARING THE HOES

First half absolutely WIPES, WASHES, SHITS ON, TOUCHES, DESTROYS, and FUCKS the second half IN THE ASS. It’s fine definitely overrated

Lovejoy - Are You Alright?
85

Talk about guilty pleasure music. Great ep

Wilbur Soot - Your City Gave Me Asthma
60

jubilee line and saline solution are great, your sister was right is good, and tracks 3 and 4 are heavily carried by nostalgia. the last 2 songs are kinda snooze fests but it ain't terrible. You could probably get something out of this listen even if a youtuber made it

Black Country, New Road - Live at Bush Hall
95

To be honest, I didn’t really want to like this project. Mainly because of the departure of Isaac Wood, former vocalist of the group, but also because of the over saturation of live albums getting good scores and hitting end of year lists on this website. Pretty dumb excuse to avoid it but whatever. Amazing live performance, consisting of some of the bands greatest work (Laughing Song, Turbines/Pigs, The Boy). That’s all there is to it, go listen, it’s great.

Listen to this record if you want to have a really shitty day and feel worthless, this shit really tore me down idk why

Radiohead - Kid A

It would be a 10 but how to disappear completely is mid until the last minute
