While this is actually a pretty damn good song with a nice beat, good verses from both artists and one of Marshall’s best sung choruses in awhile, the bored ape stuff that infests the video (which has actually a lot of great animation) is just really damn cringey and really shows that both of these rappers are getting old and out of touch.
Really upbeat and carefree track, that feels rather uplifting rather than overbearing or cringey.
Literally Alanis Morisette but that means that it’s a banger song automatically
One of their worst tracks yet.
That’s hard to believe, I know. But it’s very true.
WEEZER | CHAPTER SEVENTEEN
Well, that was unexpected.
This EP is the best thing Weezer have made since OK Human. And while that may not sound like a crazy accomplishment as that record was only one album ago, but after an incredibly mediocre LP and an even worse start to the SZNS EP series in Spring, we finally get another great project by the band. They truly feel alive again. All it took was a solid infusion of the best parts of the fun and poppy white record, the lush and at times ... read more

For an album called Gore, this sure is gutless.
..I did see this coming, if that helps. I could just tell from how people described it to me that I wouldn’t like this record. And when I say this, I mean it: this is far and away the worst thing they’ve ever put out. When it’s not so muffled you can hardly pay attention to Chino (or the production is literally crackling), or taking decent notes from the last record, it’s mind-numbingly boring. ... read more
DEFTONES | CHAPTER SEVEN
Coming only two years after the previous record Diamond Eyes, Chino and crew show enough ambition and color to nearly reach some of their best material in Self Titled. I know I said Diamond Eyes was close, but after I listened to this I quickly realized that DE wasn’t as good as I thought it was. It’s a solid record, but it’s still rather forgettable. And this album, whilst not being something that keeps my attention 24/7, is still incredibly tight ... read more
Gives me slight MMLP2 vibes. If Marshall dropped a whole album of tracks as fun as this I think it’d be his best since LP2.

Holy god. If part 2 was inessential and trying to milk the first part, this is the most redundant and pointless thing I’ve ever heard. Sonically it shows Ray’s age more than anything else.
With a more interesting and capable vocalist and writing that isn’t the usual joji shtick this would be a better tune, as on the production side of things this is solid.
(Edit: 60 —> 42. His singing sucks on this track and the lyrics are the same he writes usually, which aren’t very good.)
Cheap, tacky and plastic.
C’mon people, do you really think a Minions movie soundtrack is going to be some holy grail because it’s got a few people you know and like (that no one else in the world knows)?
It was fine. It shouldn’t even be titled an unplugged, really, but it was completely fine. A safe setlist (no songs besides the most popular ones they play at tours), and an idea made to seem unique, but Tyler actually already did at a solo performance for Trench where he took some of the songs from Trench (and some hits) and remade them. That was a great concert and it was way longer than this, which left me sort of dry and wishing for way more. It was incredibly short compared to ... read more
Despite an underwhelming hook, the phenomenal beastie boys homage of a track this is just goes the hardest of all of the singles so far for me.
The beat is actually phenomenal and Logic becomes the 4th member of BB, riding the collage of samples with some slightly dark and fun lyrics and an aggressive flow to match.
Cheesey melodramatic 80’s tune. Isn’t necessarily bad, just kinda..really eye-roll worthy.

Ya boy was just hating this is peak)
