Saba delivers a stacked tracklist of witty jammable songs that keep you constantly engaged.
You can tell that heart and soul has been poured into this one, and it’s nice to see that Saba is still capable of music on the same level as Care For Me.
A slightly noticeable downgrade from the previous album, but still beautiful.
Perfect
This is the greatest album of music ever made. I doubt it will ever be topped.
From my perspective this is one of the greatest dream pop albums ever made. To take a genre that can be so incredibly repetitive and unimaginative, and release a 71 minute album of uniquely memorable tracks is just an insane feat .
This was a sign of great things to come
Whilst I enjoy the work George put out prior to this as “Mirror Kisses”, 100% feels to me where he really came into his own and carved out a place for himself in the industry.
Greatest live album of all time
Daft Punk are the best to ever do it
And if you ask what it is, then you don’t get it
It’s just it
Absolutely pioneering folk rock album.
To me still stands at Cat Steven’s best. Something about listening to this makes me see life from a different perspective, almost like zooming out.
Beautiful, sad, yet uplifting within the sadness.
I feel like every single person on this planet has to hear this album once.
Absolute bangers front to back
While I personally prefer the direction they have gone on to take with Imaginal Disk, this LP has a lot to offer and I could see it being some people’s preference for sure.
Maria may have one of the most interesting and unique voices of the modern era.
Whilst I enjoyed Cinema and I think there is a lot about that album to marvel at, Submarine clearly shows that this band is just on the up and up.
Head bopping and fun at times, yet hauntingly beautiful at others.
Dream Pop is such an interesting genre, and sometimes it just takes a certain artist to come along and perfect it for you to realise that. The Marias are definitely that artist.

To me this stands as a collection of Beabadoobees absolute best work.
Whilst girl bedroom pop may be an oversaturated genre, this to me sits very highly in what the genre is capable of reaching.
Easily one of my favourite albums of 2022 and such an interesting contrast from her previous Fake It Flowers.
Ripples is one of my favourite love songs of all time.
A fitting sequel to Slide, even though I still lean in Slides favour as my favourite.
George proves again that he is an absolute master at his craft. He is the vaporwave synth king
I feel like most people could find something they love about this album. It starts strong, it ends stronger, and everything in the middle is genius.
Every single time I think I want to listen to a song from this album I end up listening to it the whole way.
Not many would be capable of 2 albums with the level of ... read more
Not as good as Recto Verso but still an extremely memorable and stacked tracklist
Some amazing individual songs on here, as a whole project though it’s very forgettable.
Big time long term Brockhampton fan and this definitely stands as the beginning of the end. Everything before was better and everything after was worse.
RIP PUPPY :(
Just sort of noise
I find this genre really hard to get into, but even as a non enjoyer I can tell this is a weaker record in its area.
Music being edgy for the sake of edgy will never land with me.
There’s some great songs on here but as a whole package it falls a bit flat.
Also if you are actively listening and not just playing it in the background it comes off as a little corny and surface level.
All that said I still played this on repeat for weeks so there’s clearly something good going on.
