JPEGMAFIA & Danny Brown - SCARING THE HOES

A really impressive and all the tracks are enjoyable and close no filler at all. And Danny Brown and JPEgMafia? what a duo and it shows here, now I want to get a girlfriend break up with her and listen to this

David Bowie - The Man Who Sold the World
65

IMO this is the moment where David Bowie became David Bowie. But it's not bad but nothing to note either. The only notable track there is the title track and to this day it's still one of the best DB songs ever. It's a okay album

100 gecs - 10,000 gecs

I didn't expect I would stumble to this kind of music per se loving it to the core, the wackyness allowed me to turn off my brain to enjoy their music and lose myself. Hollywood baby is a banger and it's my daily routine to listen to it alongside my coffee. All the tracks here are all awesome but Dorritos and Fritos chrorus is a bit much and crossed the cringe line for me, FOTF sounds like a music from the leapfrog tablet and it's awesome. Overall really really awesome album and I love to hear ... read more

Bob Dylan - Bob Dylan
60

I've repeated Highway 61 Revisited many times now and it's time to start the bob the builder discography and this one is just not it

The bob Dylan DNA is here but it's covered by the county-esk sound that feels a little bit silly and all the tracks are the same.

Can't say i got a favorite because as I mentioned all the tracks are the same.

Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the Deaf
89

This album rocks and I really like the radio transmission it adds to the flavor pf this album. Every song on this is a banger and headbangin'. There's so much personality and energy to this that I bought a 7/11 chicken outside. Really fun album

A fun hip hop record and I happily enjoyed listening to this whole album and it gets my whole attention. The beats are good, the melodies slap, Snoopydoggy dog is really good in this and yeah if you're looking for a good time I highly recommend this one

David Bowie - Station to Station
97

An interesting listen. I'm struck speechless after I listened to the whole record. It's definitely good but there's something off that I can't point my finger to. The songs are few but its 40 minutes long and it went through like wind.

Station to station is a amazing song and amazing opening opening up to the vibes going forward. Golden years, word on a wing, stay wild is the wind and stay is a very reflective pov of the character The Thin white duke and a inspiring pieces on their own. And ... read more

David Bowie - Young Americans
94

The disco funk and soul music blended so well together? If I'll be dammed this album is a variety of dance bops and powerful ballads and they're not overlapping each other surprisingly.

The opening Young americans is a immediate attention grabber and fascination is i ever heard this song outsIde I'll bust out the nae nae without warning. Win and Fame is such hearthrobbing songs and made this album so special.

Overall a really solid listen and packed with good songs of funk and soul. Highly ... read more

Such a joyous album to listen to, my heart is so happy hearing their music. Highly recommend

Rebecca Black - Let Her Burn

All the tracks are better than Friday, just lettin you all know. Glad to see Rebecca Black bouncing back and releasing this album. It's a mixed bag of songs that are mediocre, good and bad. Some tracks shine than the others and others is songs that you've heard before.

But I do hope she really succeeds and after this release she gets a lot of attention and she gets the help of the big names to properly manage her, I'll heavily keep an eye on her

Caroline Polachek - Desire, I Want to Turn Into You

A really surpring good pop album. The energy of this is spreading through me and the mystique that's keeping me interested throughout my listen and the flow makes this a enjoyable listen

Alice in Chains - Facelift
75

This had such a good start with the first 2 tracks but midway it just loses momentum. I enjoyed it but I felt the runtime like it's not just passing through i felt that time is wasting idk if it's just me. But the vocals on this oooweee, it's amazing. The instrumentals sounds nice and yeah i don't mind this I'm just not finding myself coming back this record.

I'm gonna be checking out their other albums to see if I could vibe to one of them because the instrumentals and vocals on this is sooo ... read more

Paramore - This Is Why
82

I really loved this record and listened to it back to back. It's so refreshing to heard this sound once more. Especially the opening This is why snapped me the f out and this is gonna be a banger. The only track that I didn't like but it doesn't mean it's bad I just don't vibe with it is C’est Comme Ça it annoyed me for some reason. But overall a great listen and I'm excited what Paramore can do in the future

Royal Blood - Royal Blood
68

Clean production and very consistent with the quality. But it's too generic and kinda don't care after a few listens, they didn't try anything risky or different to entertain me. They jut rolled what worked and that's the album

Faith No More - King for a Day... Fool for a Lifetime
70

Decent album, nothing to note about. Good rock record with some funk vibes to it, I liked evidence and The Gentle Art of Making Enemies

Franz Ferdinand - Franz Ferdinand
85

Franz Ferdinand's debut is a snapshot of the mid-2000s indie rock revival, and it's easy to see why it caught fire. The band's sound is a danceable concoction of post-punk, art rock, and a touch of glam, delivered with a stylish and charismatic flair.

"Franz Ferdinand" excels in its ability to balance accessibility with an edge. The infectious melodies and danceable rhythms are immediate, while the angular guitar work and Kapranos's confident delivery give the album a distinctive and ... read more

The Strokes - First Impressions of Earth

"First Impressions of Earth" by The Strokes. Released in 2006, this album marked a departure from the more stripped-down sound of their previous works, aiming for a more expansive sonic landscape.

Let's be real here; "First Impressions of Earth" is a mixed bag. The Strokes' attempt to break away from their garage-rock roots results in an album that, at times, feels like a band unsure of its own identity. The departure from their signature sound isn't inherently a bad thing, ... read more

The Strokes - Room on Fire
79

"Room on Fire" by The Strokes. Following the explosive success of "Is This It," this album, released in 2003, had the challenging task of living up to the hype and expectations set by its predecessor.

Let's start with the production. "Room on Fire" maintains the raw, garage-rock aesthetic that defined The Strokes' sound, but it also manages to inject a bit more polish. The guitars still have that edgy quality, Julian Casablancas' vocals continue to exude a cool ... read more

First off, let's talk about the production. "Is This It" boasts a stripped-down, raw sound that channels the spirit of classic rock 'n' roll. The guitars have this gritty, lo-fi quality, and Julian Casablancas' vocals often sound like they're coming through a vintage radio. The production is deliberate in its simplicity, a stark departure from the glossy, overproduced sound that dominated the mainstream at the time.

The album kicks off with the iconic "Is This It," a track ... read more

Billie Eilish - Happier Than Ever

There we fking go. This is what I'm talking about. Every complaint I had on her previous album is gone it turned into a sparkling star ready to wander. The vocals are more varied, the production is clean and I'm not bored and interested on what she's saying and cared about her. I'm really excited where she could go next
