I already listened to this album, this was a whileeeeee ago! I actually love this album, especially the sample work; it is completely insane. There's so much creativity that scratches my brain so good.

The flow and delivery are also really good, and the album's pacing is awesome. You should give it a listen!!!

VAPORCHROME - Cybertrax

Nice little EP! Unfortunately, it kind of falls short by trying 'too many genres,' but it's actually a great way for Vaporchrome to showcase every style he can do. Maybe next time, focusing on one 'style' would allow the EP to feel a bit more linear...

Aaron May - CHASE

What an amazing debut album!!! I’d always heard bits of the album here and there in my shuffle, but to be honest, I never gave it a full listen, and what a mistake !! The album slaps so hard it's actually insane... Every bar is hard and every beat bounce is so good. However, I can sense a bit of repetition towards the end ? Not that it's a bad thing, but I feel like it could be a little bit more diverse. Still remains an insanely good debut album !

Invisible - Durazno sangrando

INVISIBLE IS WHERE THE HEAT'S AT
Omg I just love diving into old groups or genre I didn't particularly knew...! Invisible is once again proving that the mix of jazz and rock paired with an amazing voice can produce such wonders (even if the album felt a bit short compared to El Jardin de los Presentes).
But it still remains an insanely good album that you should listen !!!

Yeat - Up 2 Më
65

Heh (HERE'S A BELL 🔔)
See I get the hype for Yeat but at the same time I don't get it... He just feels like another copy and paste from his generation of artists :( while some tracks are insane and sound crazy, I do feel a LOT of repetition from one track to another, I'm not saying they're bad or anything but they just feel the same as every other one.I would give this album a little bit more than just a mid note because there're truly some original ideas inside the ... read more

Rio Da Yung OG - 2 Faced

Stupid that's a belly button
While I find the two first song (legendary/too legendary) really good I think that past those two the album loose every ounce of "Rio Da Yung OG", by that I mean that the other 6 songs don't really feel like it's in the range/style of Rio, he's wayyyyyy better in rapping on sharp beat...

Invisible - El jardín de los presentes

WTF DID I STUMBLE UPON ????
I just love discovering random gems in the wild like that...The album has an insane pacing, the guitar is aboslutly insane for it's time and the jazz/avant-garde of this album absolutely blew me away. This album reinforces my belief that music is one of the most important ways of communication (this album being producted during a coup d'etat in Argetina).
The jazz aspect of this album is amazing for it's time too, even more so when you consider that ... read more

Gunnr - silk in shadows

We have 2hollis at home 😭🙏
I really really REALLY like the glitchy style that Gunnr has, however I find the album quite week until openingup buuutt it feels quite repetitive after that...
But if we listen to more of a "beat" point of view gunnr is getting really creative with the sound effects (the quick scope sounds from COD).
Nice album but really gets saved by dancingwiththestars in my opinion !!

Benny the Butcher - Everybody Can't Go
62

As I am quite underwhelmed by this album, I try to see some of it's positive aspects : the Snoop Dogg is good, when Benny The Butcher raps on sharp beats (which he does the best) it sounds really good! But the album is just not it... Some track are really boring, they feel bland and really out of the album's atmosphere and the good tracks of the album are just barely maintaining themselves as "good tracks".
I am a bit disappointed because I was happy to discover a bit more ... read more

Various Artists - Dark Souls III (Original Game Soundtrack)

PRAISE PEAK
I love dark souls and it was only a matter of time before I listen to this 2 hours masterpiece... Everything in this soundtrack is near perfection, every boss music feel so dreadful and are making me so anxious (this feeling when you get absolutely obliterated to oblivion by the same boss for 4 fucking hours am I right 😭🙏).
I juste love from software!!!

Furacão 2000 - Tornado Muito Nervoso 2
71

I have NO CLUE as to what I just listened to but it was FIRE !!! I reaaaaaally like brazilian music and you can realy hear how this album is a pilliar in what brazilian music is now (todays funk in particular).
However the only (major) flaw I would give to this album is that some of the songs are straight BUNS (not complitely unlistanable but really hard to finish). But if you're looking for a funky / easy to dance to album you're at the right place !!!

rusowsky - DAISY
85

WTF music man...?
(ecco) : 😔☹️😭
SukkKK! : 🤭😝😝
Project tu culo : 😭😭😭
Anyways... This album is banging holy shit 😭🙏 I really like every track, there's literally NO SKIPS. I really every aspect of it, the dancing bits at the beginning, the sad one, even the conclusion with 99% feels like a perfect ending to this album, I'm realizing that Hispanic sounding music is really on another level... Please consider listening to this amazing album !!

billy woods - Aethiopes

I could honestly write an entire book on the production of this album. The quality packed into every beat, every sample, every tiny texture is absolutely phenomenal. It’s one of those projects that reminds you how endlessly creative people can be ! What I love most is how alive the production feels. It’s chaotic but precise, like it’s constantly on the edge of falling apart but never does. The way those jazz samples, percussions, and voices collide creates such a cinematic ... read more

ksuuvi - #sameone2
62

I really like Ksuuvi and his distorted tag at every beginning of his tracks, i also think that this album is a great jerk/rap album. However it has some underwhelming track that can feel a bit rushed or less worked on ? But it remains really good in the jerk genre !!!

boy 2000 - Club 2000
66

Okay but not that muchAs much as I LOVE boy 2000 and even more tape 2000 I feel a bit underwhelmed by this one, don't get me wrong boy is proposing a really great project and only picked amazing djs for this remix album, but I feel that we are losing a bit of the effect tape 2000 made, and his universe. The album is good but maybe I doing "too much" of everything :/ It still is awesome anyway tho !!!

boy 2000 - tape 2000
83

OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS GENRE OF MUSICWhat in the jet set radio, SSX music gem I just stumble upon 😭🙏This album has an amazing pacing, every track are flowing to one another with such ease that I haven't understand that some tracks change to another one. I really like the breakcorish aspect of some songs ("savestate" or "genesis" even "datastream" even though it is at a wayyyy lower bpm but is using the breakcore patterns) or even the full assumed house ... read more

Trashiii - BLUE SLOT ARCHIVE

AAAAHHH 50/50While I do love the breakcore/ really fast pace of this album, I feel like something is missing, don't get me wrong the album is amazing, the drums are different from each tracks and some are creative as fuck, but listening to this I felt like something was not here, I cannot put my finger on it but i can assure you that something could make that album skyrocket in rating, I just to know what is it... Great listen tho !!!

Clairo - Immunity
65

PEAK PERFOMATIVE MALE PERFORMANCEFirst, I'd like to emphasise on how Clairo sounds like a child between Taylor Swift and Imogen Heap in the best way possible. Now I feel like this album is a really good debut album going through important theme such as being a young adult and eveything that revolves around it (good and bad things). Howver I felt sometimes that it was maybe "too shy" and didn't explore it's full potential, which resulted in some track being to slow, to ... read more

高中正義 [Masayoshi Takanaka] - SEYCHELLES
83

I LOVE YOU MASAYOSHI TAKANAKANo but seriously the amount of love I have for him is insane, I love how whimsy and full of joy each track are on this album, how each song is built around the guitar that plays relentlessly but seems to by playing itself, enjoying everything, telling her story.Any Masayoshi Takana project is awesome and should absolutely be checked out, it's impossible to not love the guy !!!However I find that in this album it got a tad bit repetitive or "bland" ... read more

Car Seat Headrest - Twin Fantasy (Face to Face)
94

Not very funny Mr Car Seat Headrest...
At first, I was very, very skeptical because "My Boy - Twin Fantasy" was definitely not my cup of tea. But holy fuck was I wrong 😭🙏. This album is so good (even if I’m not exactly an indie rock warrior). It’s emotional, raw, and somehow manages to feel both chaotic and intimate at the same time.
The themes hit deep, coming out, being in tune with your emotions and your own identity, trying to grow in a toxic relationship while ... read more
