The man is pushing 40 still talking bout "searching ebony a$$" or whatever he said. Very average beats and all "drake coded". I expected more for a comeback album especially with that crazy rollout. There were few highlights on this but I don't think I will enjoy them for too long. Disappointing yet expected.
This has to be an album of the year contender by the end of the year. The production on this masterpiece is just a different level of creativity and ability. The deep and heart wrenching lyrical content of the songs just proves why Injury Reserve/By Storm are one of the best and most consistent to ever do it. RIP Stepa J. Groggs.
Perfect ending to such a dense and dark trilogy. Really messed up and The Weeknd just continued painting pictures in your head of that drughead psychopathic narcissist that exploits women for absolutely anything. Very dark but extremely well executed.
Psychopathic concept with bright vocals is what could describe this mixtape. This contradiction is what makes it fabulous and just adds a heavy lot to the concept of the trilogy. The Weeknd delivered on Thursday (no pun intended).
