Radiohead - OK Computer
NR

To put it simply Radioheads classic 1997 album "Ok Computer'' changed my life as it did for many others. In this review, I will be reviewing the songs one by one, but to put it simply the record is a masterful piece of music that transcends time and genre.

Song 1: Airbag

"Airbag" is a mesmerizing and haunting song by British rock band Radiohead. The song features Thom Yorke's distinct and emotive vocals backed by a complex arrangement of instruments, including electronic ... read more

Childish Gambino - Because the Internet

On 2013's 'Because the Internet', Childish Gambino flexes his lyrical prowess while maintaining his trademark humor and charm. Despite featuring some pretty bland and uninteresting lows, the album's storytelling and thematic depth captivate listeners. Not the mention, the album also has some extremely high highs, which showcase Donald Glover's emotional and intelligent storytelling which would continue to grow on 2016's "Awaken My, Love!". The album's commentary on the influence of ... read more

Childish Gambino - "Awaken, My Love!"

On 'Awaken, My Love!', Childish Gambino moves more towards his experimental side which was starting to form on 2014's "Kauai" by embracing funk and soul elements with remarkable success. While some experimental moments, like 'California' fall short, his emotionally matured storytelling on tracks like "Redbone" and "Me & Your Mama" seem to compensate.

Bob Dylan - Highway 61 Revisited
NR

Bob Dylan’s “Highway 61 Revisited” is known by many as one of the greatest albums ever recorded, and to some extent it is!

Highway 61 is the bridge between Bob Dylan’s “Folk hero” era to “Rock n Roll poet” era or as some would call it when Bob Dylan went electric. I do disagree with the argument that Bob Dylan became a rock star of sorts since he never really was a “Loud, drugs and partying” type of character, he was always more of a ... read more
