Classic example of an album that gets rightfulky overshadowed by it's amazing singles
I have quite a good time when I listen to the whole album, but when I listen to the Songs outside of it not o much (except for the title track and stillness in time)
It lacks melody
Okay it's really great actually
And doesn't lack melody at all
I believe Damon Albarn is one of the most versatile musicians out there and this album is the perfect proof
It's more fun and varied than the first one, but still lacks in identity
Half the Album is catchy albeit dark electropop, the other is rather minimalistic Electronica. I think the electropop part of the album works a lot better, as some of the other songs are just slow and tedious. As a whole package it is pretty good and consistent though.
It' super relaxing but also keeps you always on your toes. It has these rhytmic beats that are really catchy but somehow do not get in the way of the relaxing melodies. My favorite Röyksopp Album
I don't know if it wants to be funky or relaxing
