listening to this album made me realise, that the standard way of looking at the POP albums from 50s thru the lens of singular work of art with intentional sequencing and artistry is kinda unproductive since this exact way of thinking about album as an art form became way more relevant in the 60s. maybe we should view them in similar way as we view dj mixes - as a somewhat predictible and one-dimentional soundtracks with main purpose of making people's bodies move and heartbeats ... read more
didn't really care for more song-centric parts, but ambient/illbient stuff were fire, tracks 5-9 are amazing

just like i love unfocused, stream of conciousness style of journaling and scrapbooking, where meaning happens in beetween, on the margins or randomly pops up in the process, listening to this little mixtape of raw ideas gives me similar feeling of some kind of intimacy. i love all the untrimmed, chaotic, imperfect passages, especially the ones, that felt a little more wandering-like.
