i was NOT expecting that from the combo of 80s tunes with blues, mindblowing
isn't that good compared to others with the experimentation in this, but this still has some rock n roll gems in it.
I do think it has really good potential, this truly is a pre zeppelin/sabbath sound
this made black metal sound so god damn boring like they cant make up their minds if they wanna do acoustic or metal so they just combine both for every track hoping that it stands out
absolutely incredible follow up with Felix Pappalardi's production, White Room is one of my most favorite songs of all time
denzel be sayin some "movie groovy, jiinkies, scooby" like he found a clue
I honestly am disapointed, I may come back to listen to this again but the only reason why it got this rating alone is because of the solo on Maggot Brian
i gotta say i'm pretty decently impressed, the beginning was good with hard times and spark. But at the middle is was a snoozefest but I personally found Babe In the Mountain to be a awesome comeback so I'm pleased with this for that.
the horror elements in this with the with the tone is so weird, yet this album just does it exactly right somehow. No album can copy this one
BRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCE
ok, so I thought this was really outstanding, to be clear. There are just a couple of parts in this where it just gets a little repetitive. Specifically around Karn Evil 9 2nd impression where its just a piano solo for 7 minutes, doesn't it just get boring? But the tracks I did like I liked because of a certain part of the song that really stood out to me, which I suppose is the purpose of this genre but I'm not too sure. Everything aside I enjoyed this and I reccommend.
I thought this was boring at first but giving it more of a listen really made me open my eyes, and I now think its pretty decent but defintely not my go to for grunge
