I feel like this has a chance to make some history. It’s non stop, well made noise. Very intense.

Bumping this rating up because some of the tracks have grown on me.
I like this album a lot. I’m on a discog dive of Beach House right now, and on the first day I listened to three of their albums, this being one of them. It sounds heavenly, and comforting. It deserves alllll the praise it gets; it’s beautiful. The only thing that holds it back from a 100 as of right now is the lack of familiarity, but I imagine that could change very easily, and I’ll probably end up coming back soon and changing the rating.

Once Twice Melody is, in my opinion, the most consistent Beach House album. It has some incredible songs all throughout, with the whole thing sounding super dreamy and smooth.
My favourites are:
Superstar
Pink Funeral
Masquerade
Hurts To Love
Having been a Metric fan for years, I expected something more fun. The lows are pretty low here…don’t get me wrong though, the highs are amazing. Antigravity especially is great.
My favourites are:
Crush Forever
Antigravity
Very emotional, and beautiful.
My favourites are:
Levitation
Sparks

I absolutely love the first half of the album, but I’m just not as big a fan of the second half. It’s also a very long album, and I think it went on a little too long for my liking, but it was really chill.
My favourites are:
Love’s In Need Of Love Today
Contusion
Sir Duke
Pastime Paradise
Ordinary Pain
Another Star
I don’t think it’s as good as Cryogen, but it’s better than the second single, and pretty fun.
This remix is just fantastic. Kevin adds an insanely creepy psychedelic element to the whole song, to the point where the original feels lacking. I remember listening to this song a lot this one week a few months back.
Entertaining throughout, just doesn’t do anything crazy. My favourite tracks on here are the ones Kevin Parker worked on.
My favourites are:
Summer Breaking
Uptown Funk
Daffodils
In Case of Fire
Leaving Los Feliz
There's a stretch, about 3 songs long, in this album that I found pretty boring. That being from track 3-5. Before and after that is amazing (ending aside), but that was a bit rough to get through for me. I really like the production style on this album, it feels a bit scary and dark, and it's really fun to listen to. The lyrics are pretty great, too. Especially in Silent Shout, Marble House, and From Off to On.

An absolutely incredible performance. Never did I think a live album would make me cry. Let alone three times. There is new life breathed into every song, and it elevates them to an entire new level. The only, ONLY, complaint I have is that Kevin’s voice cracks a few times, but beyond that his vocal performance is beautiful, like in Apocalypse Dreams.
My favourites are:
Sestri Levante
Be Above It
Apocalypse Dreams
The self titled track is easily the highlight of this album, and Come Together doesn’t fall too far.
For my 100th review, I decided to do something special. Now, Not Yet is an album I hold very near to my heart. It was one I first heard a few years back, and I resonated with it very well. It was the first album that got me to start listening to and appreciating music that wasn’t a soundtrack. I had heard bits and pieces of it through my siblings, and around a year ago, decided to listen to it in full.
Conceptually, Now, Not Yet is very interesting. The oxymoron ‘Now, Not ... read more
It’s entertaining to listen to, but not something I see myself coming back to much.

This album feels like a gut punch…and then it feels like a comfort blanket. Listening to this made me feel so many different emotions. I cried, I felt at home, and I felt at peace.
It’s truly some of the spaciest space rock out there, and it makes that fact very clear on the first song, the title track. It’s beautiful, progressive, and comforting if you let it be. The best way to describe it is to look at the title: ‘Ladies and Gentlemen, We Are Floating In ... read more
The blend of disco and soul works exceptionally well on the first 75% of the album. It slows down a bit near the end, but the majority is great.
Every track is quick, clever, and snappy. A new sound gets introduced each track, so it’s never a dull listen, and there are some fun samples used as well.
Disco and soul…such an interesting combination.

The lows of this album are pretty boring, but the highs are kickass and awesome. It’s pretty cliche, too, but not in a bad way; it kinda owns it. The lyrics on some of these tracks are fantastic, most notably Handshake and Sun.
My favourites are:
Handshake
Sun
The World Is Watching
Pyramid
There are parts here that feel too slow, but at the middle point, where the pacing and production peaks, it is a damn good listen.
Pyramids is easily the highlight, it’s such a groove, and every second of its near 10 minute length is worth it.
