Pusha T - My Name Is My Name
77

This is such a weird album, because how are some of Pusha T's best ever songs next to such a pile of mediocre songs? Nosetalgia, King Push and Numbers On The Boards don't deserve to be here.

DJ Muggs & Rome Streetz - Death & The Magician
83

Very underrated, most of the beats are extremely good and there's no need to speak on Rome's rapping. I'm glad he got his service, because that's really all he needs in an album. The features, however, aren't amazing.

Westside Gunn, Conway The Machine & The Alchemist - Hall & Nash 2: The Original Version
79

The Alchemist's production here is really hit or miss: it's either an all-timer beat from him or a mediocre one. Gunn does okay, Conway really goes off here. Fork in the Pot is one of the best Westside Gunn songs ever, period - that Conway verse is wild.

GZA - Liquid Swords
82

Pretty overrated to me, I've never understood what is so good about this album besides 2 or 3 songs. By no means a bad album, I just feel like albums like this are put in too high of a pedestal.

colin! - BY ANY MEANS
76

So passionate and the instrumentals are beautiful! The saxophones here do feel a bit overused and I'm not in love with every single track but it's a very short and sweet listen!

KawaiiSteez - SMOKING ON THAT ALGO PACK
79

tickled my brain thanks KawaiiSteez

Mach-Hommy - The G.A.T... (The Gospel According To...)
91

Genuinely how do people even begin to create albums like these?

MIKE - Showbiz!
86

MIKE just can't miss, and this project is no exception. It's just one pleasant instrumental over MIKE's hypnotic and complex lyrics after another. The beats here are so good and consistent - to have 24 short tracks and barely a single miss is so impressive. I have nothing to nitpick on this album.

Wiki - Half God
79

I really like Wiki's rapping and Navy Blue's production (even though this wasn't the best showcase by Navy), I have no major complaints to give here. I just think this album goes on for a bit too long, some of these songs get forgotten by the time you finish a full album listen and Wiki, though shining alone on some tracks, relies a bit too much on features to spice things up.

Action Bronson - PLANET FROG
80

This first 8 track run is actually insane, the best I've heard from Action Bronson. This album just makes me happy. I wanna live in Planet Frog.

MIKE, Wiki & The Alchemist - Faith Is a Rock
83

This met my exact expectations. I love Wiki, I love MIKE, I love The Alchemist - I loved this project. The rapping was great by both and Alc delivered some really good beats overall. Memory Loss and Thug Anthem are fantastic.

Rome Streetz - Noise Kandy 3
80

Rome Streetz really been HIM the whole time. Put him over any beat and he crushes it. Sometimes the producers set him back a bit, but here it isn't the case for the most part. I really don't know why I'm rating it this low, but for me I just think the highs here aren't to the level of other Rome projects.

Earl Sweatshirt - FEET OF CLAY
73

I'm a bit biased because not only am I a huge Earl fan, but I was also gifted this vinyl for my birthday. That being said, it's overhated. It's Earl's worst probably, but I love the ambient. 4N for example gives me this cozy and dreamy feeling I can't describe. EAST would drive me insane after enough listens. But EL TORO COMBO MEAL is what shines here - MAVI, wowww, what a verse, one of the bets I've ever heard, period. Shame Earl recorded his through a microwave.

Spillage Village - Spilligion
73

Not great but it's still overlooked. Just too many people here honestly, even if it's pretty cohesive conceptually. No one steals the show, but no one ruins this either. A few tracks disappointed my expectations.

Stove God Cook$ & Roc Marciano - Reasonable Drought
74

A pretty overrated album for me, people act as if this is one of the best Griselda projects of the decade but I disagree. I think some songs here are amazing but overall, as much as I love Roc Marciano, his production isn't it for me in over half of these songs. Stove God Cooks does his best to help but it doesn't suffice for most songs. The moments where they do both contribute (Rolls Royce Break Lights, John $tarks), you get MASTERPIECES.

Conway the Machine - God Don't Make Mistakes
84

Conway gets extremely personal on this album, which isn't usual for a Griselda album, and it payed off. Beautiful instrumentation, Conway is up to his standards and it's a very cohesive project. However, I think the features were pretty disappointing, for such a guest-heavy album.

billy woods & Kenny Segal - Maps
84

Such a solid, consistent album - one of the most approachable in Billy Woods' catalog. The beats are all super good, and the few ones that do lack a bit are compensated by the cryptic rapper's lyricism.

Cities Aviv - BLACK PLEASURE
79

It's pretty good, some amazing songs here, but I don't revisit most. Works better as an album listen for me. I will say the vibe of this album is hard to replicate.

Mach-Hommy - Balens Cho (Hot Candles)
84

It's not Mach's craziest project, but I love this extra-jazzy approach and how introspective he gets. Full of amazing songs.

Curren$y - Spiral Staircases
78

Underrated project, Alchemist goes crazy on here (literally, he has a verse here). Larry June and Curren$y don't do anything crazy but I didn't even want that from them. Very smooth, very nice.
