Kendrick clearly has a lot of potential, even at this stage in his career, but it is not fully realized. I don't think K-Dot has a bad performance here, but the production sometimes feels a bit dated. Other than that, great features and lyricism as well.
It's great, but the concept didn't really hook me. Though the production and vocals are much more polished than any other Quad album before this. And although I don't like it as much as IDMTHY, it is certainly more ambitious.
The thing is I've been watching Quadeca for years in Hivemind videos and I never could've imagined how good his music would be, but it's really good.
Don't really care for the experimental stuff Joey does on this album, but it's a good project overall.
I mean it’s good but a far cry from the original which is in my top 3 albums OAT.
Very good project that solidifies my theory that Earl will forever be improving. No joke, I think this might be my favorite Earl project after a few listens.
Sun is good, like an 8/10, doesn't change my album rating much at all.
Dragged down a little because I don't think the preluxe is as good as the actual album.
A little bit better than the original because I really like the closer.
Pretty solid EP from Domo and Graymatter. Good production and great verses. I think a feature would've improved it a little bit by adding some diversity.
Literally forgot to review this, but it's great. Tyler is definitely cementing himself as part of the Big 3 of this decade.
Great album, met the relatively high expectations that I had coming off of an album like The Forever Story (mind you, I didn't except them to be on the same level). Features are all great, beat selection is great, & JID's rapping is good, as always.
God that Eminem verse is embarrassing. Other than that, it's pretty good. Behold actually would be one of my favorites off GDLU if it was on the album.
It's solid, but not really my favorite type of music. The members are all really solid and the production is good too. I don't have a lot of complaints except for the fact that it is a little basic.
