Honestly, way better than I have expected, well at least I think its amazing cuz I am a sucker for this kind of atmosphere. Very pleasant listen
100 is not enough
I probably do not need to, but I wanted to remind this song exists

Tasmania's the most spring and neon-exotic sounding album of Pond, pleasant style but the problem is that it just doesn't live up neither to its opener, cool cover or just generally to its highs. There's some of the least interesting and simply most "underdeveloped" of Pond songs. It just could have been way better, simply as that.
Woah
Unironically one of the best things that came around this year so far.
Very intimate and comforting, absolutely beautiful and mysterious sound. Mostly minimalistic but it doesn't shy away from large moments. Peak experience with the lights turned off.
Fav song: Croak Dream
Least fav: none
Edit: its so good my cat came to listen too (feline approved)
They have stopped doing anything interesting long time ago so.. well, idk what I was expecting
The most disappointing release of the year is finally here!
No really, thats barely an album, iterally a type of a record that could be named "B-sides and demos". Average song here is just a meh interlude, so there are barely any songs in the sea of 21 tracks. It creates that odd and unengaging type of flow that just feeds you a short moment of a melody and then throws another, completely unrelated. Its almost as If you were going throught a playlist and skipping every single ... read more

Might be their heaviest and most thick n fuzzy sounding album. It doesnt stop them to get surprisingly funky anyway. Synths are eating it alive and that works for the best

Keeps growing on me. Frankie is at its coolest point, the punkiest, the most chaotic and dancier than it should be. I have relistened it quite a lot since its release and I gotta say that they keep surprising me. Maybe it doesn't look like, just from a peek on their discography but they have quite a range, band that offers something new with each and every single album. And thats great, well, now give that kind of flexibility to poeople who basicly specialize at jamming, ... read more

Better by the second listen, but it never felt like a great reward to me, there are pretty high highs, sure, and its first consistent thing in their discography. But it just doesn't work for me that much.
It doesn't take anything from the fact that Blasphemous Rumours is a masterpiece
I wanted to feel like the man on the cover so I have played Getting Over It while taking a listen. (Psycho behaviour)
First pretty good album from Depeche Mode, still suffers from being a little messy/lost like most of their ealy work. However this one is a major quality leap from everything they have done to this point. Instead of one/two whileworthy songs, this album offers an actual selection, managing to show that they CAN and ARE improving (Along the genre itself, so I assume they have ... read more
Both the heaviest and the coolest synthpop album around

My dumb ass thought it was a punk band... (Hmm, I wonder why)
Anyway, I was surprised but not disappointed, generally a very pleasant and well made album, enough that I can stand behind the hype. There was a moment which dragged my score down a little (I kinda disliked Worship You), but aside of that I have no issues.
And a side-note, I adore the drums, there's something special about em, I'm not sure what honestly.
Edit: I think It might grow on me, We'll see
Those synth go hard
Also, isn't it cool that guys that were "live-performing" kids near a sidewalk to around 6-8 people went that far? At least, thats how I remember the video showing them far before thier blow..
STFU is suuuuch a wasted potential, it physickly pains me thinking on about how good it could have been
I actually like it. Not my usual genre, so I'm surprised. Guess its a little underwhelming? Feels unfinished, still a decent listen
Mesmerizing, I am kinda out of good comprassions, especially that I haven't touched most of the Injury Reserve music. Hmm, they remind me here a little of Quadeca, probably because of the whole folky and more tendsr side to it, which works surprisingly well.
I won't be surprised if aotys will be flooded with this album
Love Pond
Times when they are obviously still trying to grasp their sound, actually with rock, its s little experimental and whacky, not in the best way honestly but its based around pretty neat ideas. Majority of the work is this kind of very playful, almost funky psych rock, but nothing outstanding. However the futher it goes the better it sounds, and I mean more mature as there's a point when they actually manage to develop some clear atmosphere, when they get their dreamy or beautiful ... read more

2 years ago I've listened to this album for the first time, one of my first experiences with both garage and noise rock, also the moment when I've realized I like psychedelic music more that I would admit to and more than I would ever expect. It was a really weird experience, you know, just getting used to the stuff. Oh, and that was actually my first time around Segall.
Album still holds up, while my opinion about Ty, that he most of the time could actually do better ... read more
