Post? Post what exactly, Post-music in general? Kind of, I mean its technically art pop, electronic music and Trip Hop but labeling is kinda pointless when you actually listen to it. Its like that shade of a familiar color that you just do not know name for. She's possibly maybe her own genre and thats her strong side I think
Also its my first time hearing her outside her part for Death Grips, deffinitely a change of.. pace
Edit: 1995?? Damn, It doesn't feel like aging a day
Dump the guitars and replace em with sax and samples? Probably thats why I love Osees, they can do random stuff like that, decorate furniture with neon rings, slap fluorescent alien stickers on the walls, they toss confetti around, shake sodas for the guests and call it punk
Thats pretty fun
The fuck you mean its their song
THE HELL YOU MEAN JARED LETO IS THE VOCALIST HERE
So if Pitchfork says that 2 of my favourite albums:
"The Fat of The Land" is misogynistic
And
"The Woods" by Sleater-Kinney is on the feminist side
What the hell does it make me in their eyes, a spy??? (🇫🇷)
Smooooth sailing, pleasant and pretty chill listen, not a masterpiece but a damn solid album with clear highs, if you like slower stuff from time to time it might be a spark
Dance punk meets retro-ranbowy-sci-fi platformer and whatever makes you high and laughing. Still very unusual sounding album and even if Osees isn't known as the most serious band out there, this is probably their goofiest shit to date.
I mean c'mom, silly voices and jumpy synths, the biggest hit song from this album is called "Goon", and it literally stands next to "The Fish Needs A Bike". Do I need to explain?
Its kind of a "clap along, think later" ... read more
Its funny how whacky it have started just to right away turn into the sea of pretty generic and meh songs. Nothing harmful, I didn't really liked anything, neither hated..
Not gonna lie, even if I am not familiar with Poppy, it sounds like there was simply a choice to be mid
I've just remembered I have actually listened to it for some reason, but it was so damn boring and unimpactful that I've just right way, simply forgot its existance and left no rating at all. Lmao.
It sums up this EP pretty well.
I've just realized that Joji is literally the pink guy, I'm so fucking slow, I guess I was never interested in his music before so thats my excuse...
I've liked every single small song related to Underscores in recent time, its just might be time I'll give them a proper listen
This album feels like an endless beating, everytime you're trying to take breath or stand up, its being kicked out of you or you just get shoved down to the ground. Easily the angriest and the most choky thing I have ever heard, and I love it.
My fav song was Bleak, but this album is filled with so much of pure insanity, that there's not even a single serious fell off. Certified banger.
I don't care that much about Ty, especially this particular album, I just wanted to say, that title track is an exception, an absolutely insane one, and I'm probably, also insane for loving this damn stupid song that much. Its 10 minutes of surf-noise on drugs and its pretty much ridiculous. I am somehow convinced that its probably one of his best songs.
If you'll put this on a pool party, everyone's leaving for sure 😆
A pretty simple but good cover, this song fits Ghost way better than I could ever expect, must be a banger for the fans
Incredible song, I never expected Arctic Monkeys to simply spawn something so good out of nowhere. Quite possibly one of their best songs
Best single so far in my opinion. Those two songs just work together so well, peak in simplicity, and probably the most Gorillaz sounding stuff from the album so far
So I was sitting there thinking: "its so fucking good", then I took a peek at my phone, I was just barely into the second track.. and lets just say that I have felt that way for the rest of the album
HELP ME I'M GETTING THE ELECTRONIC MUSIC PHASE 😵💫
Textures, layers, the whole natural flow of this album kept me grounded. It feels very complex but its somehow simple in listen, doesn't mean its boring or unrewarding. Immunity just lets you flow with the rhythm and hooks making it an oddly emotional experience. I didn't even noticed its lenght, feels like a pleasantly warm dream.
