Black Country, New Road - Ants From Up There

Genius writing and incredible composition. Very deep lyrics and levels of meaning to each line. Became obsessed after reading through genius annotations. You can really tell it's a 7 piece band by the complex orchestra (drop the instrumental album!!). Amazing work of art fr.

Overall an undeniably catchy and dance-inducing project from the queen of Pop.

Good production specifically by A.G. Cook, maybe I'm just biased to the PC Music sound but... Solid marketing and rollout of the album as well as it attempted to introduce a new era of Charli, revolving around her label contract ending riding with the juxtaposition of the "Crash" theme. With this in mind it's easier to dismiss the few tracks that seem to be overproduced and lyrically just not there ... read more

Young Nudy - EA Monster

Idk didn't impress me much. A bit slow and monotone but I thought some of Pi'erre's beats were nice.

Aside from the god awful album cover it was an overall decent project by Nudy. Mostly a flat hike tbh. Also the one singular feature by BabyDrill is just terrible... not sure why it was chosen as the single.

Favorite tracks: Lunch Meat, Fresh As Fuck, Impala, No Chaser, Sick of Slime
Least favorite: Ready, Duntsane

AGGGHHHHHHHH. OH MY GOD

Easily one of the best metal albums I've heard. Obviously introspective and "woke" lyrics. Superrr catchy and irresistible angsty chants ("Fuck you I won't do what you tell me" / "A bullet in ya head" / "Wake up!"). Guitar solos are mad. This album fucks

"nice review man. i think that's part of alex g's appeal - his weirdness and unpredictability. even on this album there are some pretty funny lyrics. also his live shows seem to be pretty unique (although i have never been to one) and his fan base seems to really enjoy that aspect of him."

"Yes I think I became immediately biased for this album after hearing that 13 second intro track."
