Bonny Bear does it again and turns his Sad Folk With Bleeps into Happy Folk With Bleeps while merging all the best aspects of every album in the back catalogue into one big ol' thing. And of course, I absolutely adore it. Got me through hell at the DMV today too

Okay, so a bit of a story time. Is it bad that I only really "got" this album when I was absentmindedly listening to it while walking through a Costco? Oh, bloody hell. Original review's down below. This thing clicked with me SUPER hard, so I gotta rewrite this.
In essence, 22, A Million is like an album shattered to bits, left out in the cold, trying to piece itself back together again. It's fragile. It's an unexpected turn for Bon Iver, so likewise, it takes unexpected turns right and left to leave you puzzled and possibly unsatisfied. There's messy production, odd glitches and out-of-the-blue soundscapes littered all over the place. It ... read more
