After listening to this I can't lie, I was left wanting far more. After so long with no album I am honestly in shock, because the singles were great. However, most of the album just feels like unfinished songs. It's a similar issue I had when Smithereens came out, where it was just too short to be of anything special. With this album you can hear some great ideas being tossed around like Pixelated, Sojourn, Love You Less, Dying Breed, and DYKILY. But then you get these short songs ... read more
What a slap to the face for the Kanye fans. Bro literally released the same two songs from V1 and said, "Alright let me just add like some lyrics to one song and have it all be low quality". What a bunch of horse shit, I will say that DAMN is promising tho.
(Note: Sorry for no ratings or reviews as of late, I've lost a bit of interest in the site and haven't been keeping up a whole lot. I might get back to doing ratings and stuff soon.)
Quadickadick has released a new song from his upcoming album Vanisher, where he is surrounded by boats and shit. If you ask me, this shit is peak. I love how this still captures what made IDMTHY so amazing, but still keeping it fresh with a new sound. Easily his most ambitious song so far, I am feeling a 96/100.
I haven't listened to this in it's entirety, mainly because I have given up hope on anything he does. Highs And Lows I still think is one of his best since Donda, but that's about it. I haven't supported much of anything he does now, and I won't anymore. I am gonna stick to the Kanye I use to know before 2022.
Wow, a review just to plug my own song cover of the song that I am reviewing. Ever since I heard Open Hearts back in November or December of 2024 from the Apple Vision Pro, I knew this was a fucking hit. There is a reason why I chose to cover this song, and it's because I relate to this shit. Easily in my opinion one of, if not the best song on the album period. I am feeling a 100/100.
Speaking of song cover, I got a cover of Open Hearts out now. My intention was not to make it better ... read more
Goddamn another amazing single, don't know if I like it more than Disease yet but I love the electronics of this song. Truly takes me back to Born This Way. I am feeling a 96/100. (Edit: Okay I love this now)
Believe it or not, but this is the first ever Mac Miller song I've heard. And also the first single I've heard in 2025. Honestly this is a great single, and makes me curious for this new posthumous album. I like how groovy the song is, and how chill it is. Overall a great single to start off the year, I am feeling an 88/100.
It's about damn time...
I have officially reached the point where I feel Prince truly became a phenomenon. 1999 is his best album so far, with some of his most classic songs like Little Red Corvette, Let's Pretend We're Married, and ofc the title track. The album also shows more diversity than any other album so far, where you get different tracks everytime. I will admit the album is a bit too long, but most of the songs truly make up for it. Overall an amazing album, and I ... read more
A year later Prince released this album after Dirty Mind. I have to say this is a much more enjoyable compared to Dirty Mind, but still suffers from not having a lot that makes it up there with some of the best albums. I love the first three tracks, and the rest is also pretty damn good, but still fails to reach a certain point that I'd like it to go. Overall a really good album, but I am still looking for more. I am feeling a 90/100.
Alright, somehow I never heard this song til now. Good lord is this fucking amazing, what the hell is wrong with me? It turns out this is my favorite single of the year, and I finally found a song that's better than 16 CARRIAGES. I also heard this would be on LG7, and I am all for it. I am feeling a 100/100.
After hearing Prince's self titled, I was quite interested in what he was gonna do next within his discography. Dirty Mind is where Prince truly starts to show off what he can do, and in all honesty is a much better cohesive album compared to the previous. It might not have a lot of ballads or anything, but what it does do is great. Everything flows nicely and it never feels like Prince is losing control of the album. Overall a borderline great album, but nothing too revolutionary YET. I ... read more
Alright before all you goobers start talking shit about this, I have to come in and let y'all in on a little secret...I enjoy KSI's music. Yep you heard me, I like MOST of the stuff he does. I will admit some of it is shit though, but this right here ain't among those.
I kinda knew Billie was on this because It was an unreleased track that leaked, but I hadn't heard it til now. While most of it is Billie singing, when KSI comes in he is actually really good. I think the ... read more

So you might be asking, "Mari, why in the hell are you reviewing Prince?". Well, that is a very good question. Lately I have been listening to a couple of tracks by Prince, mainly because I saw a video about his entire discography not too long ago. I also knew Prince because of Purple Rain, both the album and movie. Now that I have heard a couple tracks, I thought I'd go into his discography........
And then I saw he had 40 FUCKING ALBUMS!! (According to Wikipedia, but ... read more
It's about fucking time.
For months I have been listening to this album, but never could get my full review because I just felt that I needed to hear it more. Finally it is time for a review on this album.
After Songs of Faith and Devotion, I was excited for the next release and I had heard a couple songs off this album before hearing the whole thing. Even though my expectations were met, I can't help but feel that this album lacks something that Violator and Devotion had. I knew ... read more
While Abel is taking a shit Part 2: Electric Boogaloo
I'm gonna be honest, this song isn't nearly as good as the last one. It's still pretty good, but it's not anything to brag about. I love the production though, it's very atmospheric. I am feeling an 88/100.
(Also thanks for the amount of likes on Light Again!, check out my other shit)
While Abel is taking a shit and not releasing Open Hearts on streaming, the gay king himself returns with a fucking banger. I feel like I am in a damn club listening to this, like I'm a stripper or some shit. Absolutely love the vibe with this one, can't wait for Dreamboy now. Overall I am feeling a 98/100.

The mixtape that started it all. In March of 2011, this mixtape released on The Weeknd's website as well as YouTube. At the time people thought this was a group, but in reality was only one person. The mixtape spread across the internet and received high praise. Today, it's regarded as one of the best mixtapes of all time.

After 16 years, The Cure have finally made their comeback to music. Produced by the same producer as Bloodflowers in 2000, this return to form is an absolutely amazing piece of work that showcases how The Cure became so famous in the first place. Multiple songs off the album are reminiscent of Disintegration and what made that album so special. The writing from Robert is still at it's peak, with some highlights being Alone, Endsong, and I Can Never Say Goodbye. Overall this album is ... read more
