my god what a star!
chances are you know literally nothing about polish music, especially from the 70s. and to know some random elder woman named renata lewandowska? impossible. literally impossible cause this amazing artist was kinda forgotten even in poland. she made a few gigs back in a day and never released an album. I even asked around my family and no one remembers her. she ended her career before it even started for good, moved to usa and became an interior designer or smh like that. ... read more
I'm confused.
I listened to it right after the release and kinda forgot about this record until now - crazy high #3 year end rank reminded me. And... why is that so high? honestly for a quirky indie rock it's lacking the bite, a couple standouts here and there are too widely spread to make an impression. By any means is it a bad debut, it's just not that characteristic. 'Wet Dream' is a bop tho
