Very strong opening to an underwhelming album. I find the mixing kinda off in some places. I don’t know exactly what is bothering me but it just feels cheap sometimes. The same goes for Gaga’s vocal performances. They can be all over the place sometimes overproduced with no apparent reason. Comparing this project to some of the disco revival stuff that came out last few years e.g. Jessie Ware, Kylie Minogue or even Dua Lipa, it comes out as a dare I say a simple wannabe. THANK YOU FOR BREAKING THE 500 FOLLOWERS BARRIER!
I've been following Sam since his first LP, back when music wasn't my number-one hobby. Back then, I just listened to the things I liked without "forcing" myself to listen to everything. That brings me to the point that I may be a little bit biased in my judgment. But then again, I also liked Ed Sheeran back then, and thank God I've changed my mind about that guy.
One thing that was immediately apparent to me when I ... read more
I think Westside Gunn is slowly starting to bore me. It still pleases me once I hear "Conductor" and "Boom boom boom" on a track but well ehh how many "Booms" does he have left?
Honestly, I don't know what is more brain dead - this LP or Drake's fans arguing on Twitter that this is the best music they've ever heard.
I find myself coming back to this song very often. Can’t quite grasp what it is that brings me around every time but it hits right into my heart.
Hi guys, It turns out a friend of a friend is making some rather good IDM music! If you have some free time, please give it a listen or two!
I'm a bit late to the party, but I've been suffering from a bad case of the flu for the last few days and only had a few hours today to listen and write my first impressions. Abel has been my favourite artist for the last 10 years. I remember the first album I pirated was "Starboy". I had just moved from a small village to the capital of Poland. I had that LP memorised and engraved in my brain. I was beyond excited when Heartless came out and then the ultimate, top of the ... read more

Oh wow. SAME KIND OF LONELY solidified my rating. That song took me by surprise. It is a tad bit repetitive at times but overall very cohesive piece of work.
There is just nobody like her in Polish music. Constant quality no matter what she is doing. It's not repetitive, and it's a perfect sequel to the first album.
Not sure about that rating yet. It has some amazing moments and very good songs on there but at the same time some are just not up to the standards of her previous work(I'm looking at you Childlike Things). Definitely deserves couple of listens but MAGDALENE was just more consistent.
