An incredibly cohesive album and arguably TesseracT's best work with Daniel on vocals. Beautifully written tracks and progressive song structures that will make you forget about the 1 hour run time.
One of if not the greatest soul record and most important in the genre. Marvin's Magnum Opus
A great step up from his previous record. Still can't believe he was in YBN with Nahmir and Jay. The crossroads cements Cordae as a lyricist and storyteller and proves why we all need an Anderson Paak and Cordae collab album.
While many songs feel unfinished with only about 1 minute run times, the songs that do feel complete showcase Big L's grimey lyrics and catchy flows and puts into perspective what he could have been if he'd not tragically past.
While the album sounds fresh and is a change of sound from their previous work, this album is very "gimmicky" and doesn't hit as much as "And Everything in Between." This album is good, but not as re-playable as their last album.
While definitely feeling a bit more on the safe side structurally, All that follows is a solid effort from currents and a nice surprise.
Again, I appreciate the Versatility and political concepts in the lyrics, but I just do not like the music
Please don't get mad at me, I just think this style is not my thing. I went into this with no expectations only knowing killer mike and his other work. Not only was this record not at all what I expected, I also just really didn't enjoy it and got kinda bored. I appreciate the unique production and song structures and ideas that came to light, but I just don't see myself coming back to any songs except the outro
One of the grimiest records in all of Griselda. While not my favorite and a little repetitive for me, I can appreciate the consistency and lyrical genius
This album Junts. Easily one of the most cohesively pissed off records ever released with violating instrumental production and breakdowns for days. Sit and Mourn is hands down one of the best album closers I have ever heard
ERRA is my favorite modern band. This is arguably their weakest album, next to Neon, while still not being a bad record. The singles to me were very uninteresting and I was very worried about the album. When the record actually came out, I enjoyed it quite a bit but was still somewhat disappointed in the lack of guitar work and intricate ideas that they are known for. However, as time went on, the songs really started to click for me and I realized this is one of those albums that you have to ... read more
While not the most creative or impressive album, Bloom's effort was easily one of my favorites from the year. I am a sucker for nostalgic sounding metalcore and this record scratched an itch for me. Bound to you whispers, You and I, and an exit really hit for me and I still come back to those songs frequently
While I was really excited and really fucking with this album when it first came out, as time went on, I never see myself coming back to it ever. The record is an overproduced/quantized copy of many other bands. While some ideas were executed pretty well, some of the songs are more annoying to me than appealing.
An impressive debut release from Midwinter, looking forward to everything else they have in store for us.
The most cohesive and consistent Conway record to date with great productions, standout features, and his most emotional and grimey lyrics to date. This record really sets him apart from the rest of Griselda and easily puts him at the top.
A great remaster of a classic that helped define the tech-Death genre with huge riffs and breakdowns and melodic leads that pack a big punch within the 23 minute run-time.
A beautifully heartbreaking album and story about Saba's life and trauma growing up with gut wrenching lyrics and sick production to match the atmosphere of the album.
After going back through their discography again, I find that this album might actually be my least favorite from them. I don't see myself coming back to this record nearly as much as their first 2 or Heavener. This album is still great and the high moments are very high, but I feel like is just not as consistently great as their other projects.
