All these years later, this album has aged quite well, and is IMO the crowned jewel of the chillwave era.

Hemlock Ernst & Kenny Segal - Back at the House
86

Holy crap this thing is good

Stormzy - Heavy Is the Head
78

Another solid record from Stormzy

Harry Styles - Fine Line
84

I've lamented that there is little good mainstream pop by men these days. Harry Styles again proves to be the exception. Honestly hard not to listen and smile and boogey a bit

The Shins - Port of Morrow
84

I think this album low-key aged very well

Elbow - Giants Of All Sizes
74

Better than the last few. Pleasantly surprised

Wilco - Ode to Joy
76

Finally got around to it. Better than I anticipated. Best effort in a while

What a vapid piece of nothingness. It was 11 minutes and felt too long. I'm upset I had to listen to 7 minutes of that nostalgia porn. The piano at the end where she wasn't saying bullshit was fine though.

Erykah Badu - New Amerykah Part Two: Return of the Ankh
86

Just came across this one. Drags on a little too long but holy crap is it captivating

Coldplay - Everyday Life
77

Coldplay was my favorite band growing up, and although we've grown apart, I still am always curious what they put out. I gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised with this one. They sounded like a band who made a boat load of money and no longer felt the need to put out a "poppy" record. Their most ambitious album to date and certainly the best one since Viva la Vida.

Brittany Howard - Jaime
66

This was super disappointing

J. Cole - 2014 Forest Hills Drive
86

Wait I've been thinking J.Cole sucks this whole time but this record is good. Am I wrong or is it just this record?

Lucy Dacus - 2019
78

Shoot I actually really like the originals on this thing. Wish they made it onto a full album. Maybe they will. Covers are meh

FKA twigs - MAGDALENE
79

I still can't quite get there with FKA Twigs but this is pretty good. Cellophane is a masterpiece

Kyle Craft - Showboat Honey
61

Finally got around to this. Ugh he's gone downhill since his promising debut

Michael Kiwanuka - Kiwanuka
64

Honestly feels uninspired. Musically pretty boring

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Skeleton Tree
86

Aged quite well. Still very sad

Kanye West - JESUS IS KING
74

It's aight. I won't go further than that

Danny Brown - Atrocity Exhibition
98

Better with age. My favorite rap album of the decade
