Solid solo album debut. Caroline lives up to the potential she showed us all in Chairlift
First experience with clipping. Enjoyed it. Excited to listen to the old stuff
Just because this record isn't as bold and "wild" as previous Danny Brown albums doesn't mean it isn't good. In fact, it rocks. Production on here is remarkable, and Danny is just as in his element as ever.
EDIT: Overreacted on the score, but still enjoy it quite a bit
Probably gonna be in the minority that thinks this is Angel's worst record, but I think it is. I don't love the vocals on this one to be honest... Some really strong moments though, particularly in the middle. Still great because Angel Olsen is great. But I don't love it quite as much as I hoped.... This certainly isn't as good as Titanic Rising
For some reason I thought this album sucked but it turns out I suck and this album doesn't suck
Sandy Alex G manages to combine his signature lo-fi sound with crisp production so successfully here. Early songs have echoes of the Michrophones. But this album is really a fascinating blend of musical styles. Has potential to be a grower for me
I keep trying with jpegmafia and I just can't get there. Sorry guys
Somewhat generic but far better than the singles had suggested this would be. Just kinda bland
Not every album needs to re-invent the wheel. This album is breezy and pleasant
Gotta say I like this new slower tempo for Brockhampton. Their best record since Sat. 2
Another pretty record from Joan, who seems to be cranking out a good one every year
