A decent, but inconsistent album from Jesca following up her 2017 masterpiece, Memories are Now. Worth a listen, but the production is in no way groundbreaking.
A monumental achievement in folk music. This was released 50 years ago today.
I don't think this album really comes close to her debut, but damn it is her voice soothing
Finally got around to this one, and sorry to say I found it a really hard listen
Really cool record, a bit of country reminiscent of Molly Burch and others, a bit of brass reminiscent of Natalie Prass, and self deprecation reminiscent of Sidney Gish. And then Flowers! Just a beautiful record blending multiple styles into a cohesive heartbreaking album.
EDIT: Revising up, can't get enough of this
