I think what makes this record so compelling is the instrumentation. I think Lana finally found the right balance of modernity and nostalgia, and it makes for her best record yet. A bit too long though, I think to be the masterpiece some are claiming. But certainly one of the best of the year.
Was thinking this album was mostly a one-hit wonder, but it's really fucking good
I think it's easy to forget how good this record is given how crappy most of the rest of their music is
I think this will bring Marika a lot more attention which is fantastic. There are some great moments on this and I'm excited to dive into her lyrics, which never disappoint. But y'all new fans should go back and check out "I'm Not Your Man." It's far more cohesive
New Fionn Regan? Oh shit!
Honestly Fionn's best record in years. Beautifully sparse
This album has grown on me so much over the years. Such a great musical satire of late 2010's America
Beginning the process of re-listening to everything I enjoyed this decade. Forgot how good this one was..
Might be lyrically interesting but damn is this thing boring musically, with uninspiring vocals
