A great album from a veteran of the folk scene I've long wanted to explore. Now I have reason to go back and dig through his older stuff!
As hypnotic as she's ever been. Wonderful effort by a one of a kind artist
Hard to believe the same band who made the bold, creative before the world was big could follow it up with 2 albums so bland and devoid of emotion
Not since the early work of Ryley Walker has an artist so effectively capture the aura of the late 60's/early 70s folk revival. Beautiful work
Would I rather just have an Aesop Rock album? Yeah. Is this still pretty good? Also yeah
AS someone who's long thought James Blake was overrated, I actually kinda liked this one
Pharrell is crying from indifference this time... Alaska is still good though
Maybe this was revolutionary at the time but I'm underwhelmed by it to be honest
She's got a good voice and the lyrics aren't even bad, but so musically uninspired
Don't really get the hype here. This thing is bland and uninspired
