There you have it, we've reached such a low that we're just having collab albums be a series of who can rip off who the best. If an album could ever drop out of existence and have no one care, this is it.
Part 1 of "Who's The Most Mediocre In Our Group", spoiler, Quavo already loses.
Somehow Vince overhypes an 11-track album with boring hooks, lyrics that fly past with zero wit, and minimal effort production that overall makes him drop out of rappers worth my time in their 20's. This thing didn't make me want more Vince, it made me want more Earl. So...yeah.
My mission to destroy my 2015 Emo self continues.
Just a super cute and loving album, I adore it.
Edit: Mental Health might be one of the better songs I've ever heard.
Honestly because I struggle to relate with this album, I want to stamp my unbiased review on it because it's still a stellar project. Really passionate, indulgent, and loving compilation. Even though I personally can't connect with it, from another standpoint this album easily lands in the higher portion of an 8.
Fantastic album. Beautiful concept, emotionally driven and some top-tier production.
I should like...start relaxing on the 10's, shouldn't I...
Let me just start by saying, no album has ever sent my mind into such a dark spot, and made me bawl my eyes out this hard.
The pure, raw, story-telling and emotion that fuels the fire that burns so brightly in this record is enough for me to say this is the pinnacle of expression and coping through art. Not only has it touched my heart but has also helped me run through my emotions when I needed to. Fantastic album.
This EP is great, if KKB expanded more on this material, then they could really piece together something fantastic on a larger scale.
