I thought I would do an extra special review for this album, not because its the best album ever, frankly I don't even think its swans best album but, without this album, my musical growth would have been heavily stifled and I probably would have never found my favourite band of all time. While initially so odd it was off-putting I have grown to love this project, its eccentricity makes it probably the most fun I have ever had with a pop album (if you could even call it that). The vocals are constantly changing pitches and the instrumentals can be very, very clunky and jarring yet somehow I feel like I can relate to this mess of sounds
The original music is incredible but I think these covers do nothing but elevate it.
Frank's immature lyrics stop me from enjoying this, whilst they don't offend me I just don't wanna hear about it hurting when you pee etc.
