What you know about rollin' down in the deep?
When your brain goes numb, you can call that mental freeze
When these people talk too much, put that shit in slow motion, yeah
I feel like an astronaut in the ocean, ayy

Congratulations for the 10 years of this album "21", the best-selling album of the century that brought a huge cultural impact to the music industry.

The album has a sound inspired by many genres such as pop, soul and R&B and elements of classical music, bringing an enchanting production that accompanies Adele's melancholic vocals. Lyrically, the tracks reflect the end of relationships, self-examination and forgiveness, topics well known to everyone who knows and falls in love ... read more

Adele is an artist who proves on 21 that music can be a chart topping affair without sacrificing in the realm of quality. If the quality of this music is unrecognized by some, it is likely to be due in larger part to overexposure rather than a true critical eye.

I will admit I suffered the same nearsighted fate for the last few years; hearing a song like Someone Like You inevitably being more of a cringe-worthy moment rather than a powerful one. There wasn't a soul who wasn't familiar with ... read more

Woodbine’s February Challenge! Day 19:

Ooh, we’re in need for some Diva energy right now! Today, pick an album that will have you strutting through the day, fierce and GLAMOROUS!

Ok. So this wasn’t exactly the BEST pick for today. I should’ve probably spent a bit more time looking (because I switched out an even worst pick just a few hours before), but it is what is. This album is also pretty damn good. I’m OBVIOUSLY familiar with a few songs on here, and while ... read more

#15 On Apple Music´s Best albums of all time list

Top 15 Of All Time?? This is a pretty decent album its consistent but the only really stand out tracks on here are the major hits which is like 3 tracks and the rest is solid but really forgettable and to say this is a top 15 album ever is wild sure it had great commercial success but there is a difference between commercial success and quality its still good but not top 15 album EVER worthy

Set The Fire To The Rain

At this point, 21 is basically in the pop music hall of fame. Adele delivered an album filled with nothing but juggernauts such as Rolling in the Deep, Someone Like You, Set Fire to the Rain, Rumour Has It. These tracks were literally everywhere. Like, radio, TV, cafés, your aunt’s living room, weddings, breakups: Adele was the background to everything in 2011.

And the crazy thing is: the songs still hold up. Her voice is so damn powerful, but it’s not just vocal acrobatics, ... read more

Thank you @TigeZ for the recommendation!, I couldn't tell you why and I don't think her singles are bad at all but for whatever reason I've never had interest in her albums. It's obvious she's a great singer so we'll see how this goes.

"Rolling In The Deep" is one of the more obvious tracks and it is a folky bop, Ya'll have artists like this right? Like their talent is obvious and the song is heat but you never saved it or chose to listen? Anyways, ... read more

I mean, it's one of the most talented and critically acclaimed artists at her best, I think that speaks for itself.

To say that Adele has had a successful career would be an understatement. She is one of the most influential figures, not just in music, but in pop culture as a whole. She has cemented her place in music history with countless hits on the radio and her countless amounts of awards, one of which (I'll let you take a guess at which one), this album granted her. And regardless of ... read more

Adele's "21" is a dreary and overwrought album that finds the singer feigning maturity. The songs are mostly turgid piano ballads with uninspired string arrangements.

"Rolling in the Deep" and "Rumour Has It" are reasonable daytime radio fodder, but as songs they are marred by slow, torchy middle eights. "21" is a disappointment that isn't likely to gain Adele any fans she didn't already have. - Percy Kennedy

Yea I still like this album a bunch. The vocals are stunning and I have ugly fapped/cried to this album a number of times in my youth. Fun!

This is the good part of the 2010's (maybe i talk into the nostalgia part, wait 13 years... Im to old for this)
I feel like Adele is one of those artist that even i dont have any passion between so much of her hits, i can definitely say its one of the most talented artist i heard for a while her voice and heavy beats makes the experience like if was the rencarnation of Amy Whinehouse and its not the only artist i feel that way like The Weeknd kinda resembles sometimes of Michael Jackson ... read more

This album undoubtably has some of Adele's best songs ever but because the bar is set that high, a couple of the songs on here definitely get outshined by the others. I think some of the performances are a bit too somber and slow on a couple times and I think Adele does best when she shows how damn good she is at singing and the vocal range that she has. Overall I thought this was an amazing listen and I actually think that this album is underrated generally speaking because I think this ... read more

MARATONA AOTY GRAMMY - 54th Grammy Awards

Adele's 19 is to Star Wars as 21 is to The Empire Strikes Back. It reinvented and elevated her sound and style, adding depth and complexity to her songwriting and production, culminating in an exciting and inspiring pop album for the ages. Not only did it grant her worldwide fame, it changed the landscape of pop music in the early 2010s and inspired a new generation of music makers everywhere.

Edit: 100->90 I hate to see it fall but...it just doesn't hit the same as it used to.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ: Adele's impact with this album goes beyond the commercial force she ignited at a time when people barely bought physical records anymore. It's also about instrumentation, a "raw" voice—at least as much as possible in Pop—and lyrics that are somewhat relatable but still abstract.

๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ท: O impacto da Adele com esse disco vai além da força comercial que ela despertou numa época em que pessoas nem compravam mais discos ... read more
