I guess like most listeners I don't ever consider Spoon a '90s act, primarily because they only got a taste of mainstream success later in the '00s, but here they are on their debut sounding a lot like a mix between Soul Coughing and the Pixies all the way back in '96.

Longtime Anno fans will be thrilled as I finally learn what a spoon is. They're an Indie band formed in Texas!
I'm kinda suprised seeing how far back this band goes, I definetly consider them a modern band.
Pretty solid debut all things considered, nothing bad here really. Although you can kinda tell its singular in their discog.
