I really like the production, some of the choruses are really good, but his voice is so annoying to me it stops it from being any more then 6/10
That "special something" he thinks he has, is being specially annoying
The worst album I've ever heard. I'm not even kidding.
Legit sounds like the music from a white girl doing ahegao
What can I say about this album that hasn't already been said? A gorgeous performance by Thom in every song. Airbag is an incredible opener. Paranoid Android is probably one of the best songs ever made. Jonny Greenwood's guitar playing is so fucking phenomenal it's unbelievable. Perfection.
This album is a diary of a husband and father grieving after losing his wife, counting the days since she's left, trying to find meaning in the meaningless, and going on for his daughter. Truly the most heartbreaking record I've ever listened to.
I gave this a 100, because of the gorgeous yet subtle musical writing, but the images it paints, the pain you can feel, is so heartbreaking.
Still... how do you even rate this? This isn't entertainment, there isn't a resolution, there isn't a ... read more
Not bad! The last couple songs sorta left a sour taste in my mouth but not enough to negatively effect my experience with it too much
Immediately the lyrics are so much hard hitting. The production is top tier, and Thom’s vocals have so much passion behind them. The guitars are so damn good, and the drumwork by Philip Selway’s drumming always played for the song, never to be the most standout instrument. The instrumentation on this album is so stunning, Fake Plastic Trees makes the world feel in slow motion. Street Spirit is such a phenomenal closing track

With the exception of a few songs, this album leaves little to be desired.
Best songs: You; Creep; Lurgee
Worst songs: Thinking About You; Anyone Can Play Guitar; Ripcord; I Can't
One of the best produced and written albums I've ever heard. Every line on this album is perfect. Captures the anxiety of queer teenagerhood so well. I don't think anything will ever come close.
TL;DR: Not a single bad song on this album, a true swan album to an incredible career, it's hard to imagine that they were only a band for 7 years.
"Come Together" is an amazing opener, "Something" is an amazing guitar ballad, "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" kicks ass, "Oh! Darling" gives me nostalgia few songs can, "Octopus's Garden" is goofy but fun and Ringo's voice is great, the sudden ending from "I Want You (She's So Heavy) to one of the ... read more
