The album is called hotel california, the title track is hotel california, the highest rated song is hotel california, oh god.
this thing dragssss
i can’t enjoy this music-wise, but i seriously fuck with the vision
i found better quality audio of these songs but im sorry its just not really my thing
sadly, this is from 1986 and is really not that popular so i cant really find it in particularly high quality, but it is not bad by any means. you see a lot of potential in it although it is rough around the edges, like any amazing bands roots.
I like the rawness of it. Thom yorke isn't trying to just make more radiohead or anything like that and is going with his gut but i think its too experimental and odd for me to enjoy something like it.
Every song on this album has such awful mixing. It reminds me of that stoner song miley cyrus made called "Dooo It!" (0/10 song) and this whole thing is just dreadful to listen to
this is very beautiful experimental rock, i'd go as far to say that it's a masterpiece. it suffers from one issue though: pacing.
some parts are basically just silence. there was like, an entire minute of silence in "a pitcher of summer" and although its not a big deal, for a slow album it definitely feels like bloating. i would say remove like, 5 - 10 minutes from it and it would be around 94/95.
i really like the last 2 tracks, but some are just white noise and i kinda have to mark it down for that
this is MUCH more like it, compared to their work on the postal service. very good midwest emo project
is it weird that i don't like this?? i don't hear any interesting or unique sounds and the guys voice just does not do it for me, considering the instrumentation. maybe if he was doing a more yankeehotelfoxtrot type sound i would really like it, but this comes off very "you would not believe your eyes" and the only song where his vocal chords actually were doing anything with the beat was the second track "such great heights" no wonder it's the bands most ... read more
i feel like im too generous with my ratings sometimes, but this is one of the best albums ever. i couldnt even believe what i listened to when i first heard it
this albums always great, but if ur high as hell at 4 in the morning it's awesome
after the singles, for some reason i actually see the vision and can take her seriously
