Popera at its finest. There are a few points on the record that I am rather indifferent on but as a whole this thing remains consistent and very enjoyable. Songs like "This Hell" and "Frankenstein" are your traditional pop bangers where "Hold the Girl" takes a more theatrical approach and "Imagining" is electro-pop influenced heavily. Lots of range on this project without losing focus.
This thing is like a nostalgia time capsule of 2015 encompassing the high's and low's of the time. Lots of electronic influenced party music that is sold well by Slim Jim and Swae Lee's charisma and chemistry together. The thing that really drags this down for me are the more lengthier tracks without much content that just drag. Still fun for the most part with a lot of the magic still there.
The final round.... for now. Overall, the most consistent and quality of the cyphers to date. Certainly, hope the upcoming one is of a similar level.

Round Tres, Zero fittingly gets a 0 and Vi Seconds is damn near cheating at this point. Worst cypher of the bunch so far.

Thanks to whoever took the time to add these to the site! Will give individual verse ratings along with composite score! Looking back, Haydunn's verse was actually quite good his flow was just what really held him back.

This may be one of Red Hot Chili Pepper's safest records.... but it is also one of their best records too.
Pretty captivating production on this single. The vocals feel a little flat at points but doesn't ruin the enjoyment of the song.
Overall I felt like I really was enjoying some of the more experiment production ideas on this project and will be following to see future releases from this artist. You can get little tastes of similar artists such as Charli XCX and Caroline Palachek in some of the vocal sections but it remains distinct enough to feel different.
This might just be my favorite metal-core album of all time. This thing is musical therapy with it's sincere lyrics and the instrumentals on these songs will shake you to the core. I'm glad the band continues to see success to this day but it really is a shame Adrian had to depart so early into the band. This thing only gets better with age.
Just close your eyes and let your imagination paint the scenery for this album. For me it was interplanetary battles of otherworldly creatures and space ships with planets exploding in the background. Idk man.
I swear I do not remember this album being so damn good. This thing is high energy, theatrical, and focused. The first 8 tracks are there to throw you against the wall then proceed to throw everything else at you all at once. This is followed by two lengthier tracks on the backend that have a bit of a duality between them. "A Little Piece of Heaven" is what I would describes as a musical interpretation of Nightmare before Christmas while the closer "Dear God" is a much less ... read more

Edit 02/15/2024 90 -> 91: Musician bumped from 90 to 100, I fucking love this album. Might sit down with it again to go more in depth.
Insanely cinematic and theatrical rap album. Little bloated towards the back half, but still has an obscene floor for quality.
Definition of a classic country album. This thing has its low points but it's overall quality it superb and you can tell the band is having fun playing their instruments. Their is so much to appreciate about the instrumentals alone on this project. The first three tracks also have some amazing vocal performances and lyrical highlights. The real meat though lies in the closer "Green Grass and High Tides" which is a length near 10 minute song that entrances you in itself once it starts.
The transition of "Big Wheels" into "Joyride" is flawless. This thing is an emotional slightly edgy experience all wrapped in good production and excellent instrumental choices. Shit, I might even like this more than a few of the Saturations.
Holy Shit! I like this one! When I first found this band I knew there was something I liked about them but all the music I had heard to this point really hadn't sold me on them. Turns out I just had to go far back enough to find the gold. "Mixed Signals" is absolutely fire!
Yeah it still ain't for me.... "Not Good at Goodbyes" is a great song and I honestly prefer the acoustic version over the original but the rest of this EP just didn't have much to stick with me.
Sorry Taylor fans. This thing is Boo-Boo. Some of the worst trap inspired synth-pop I have ever had the displeasure of hearing. It honestly shocks me that many people must have heard this pre-release and no one said "yeah maybe this isn't it." Going to just leave some ramble bullet points below on my feelings about this:
-First track has strongest chorus on the project
-Question. Why are the two features on this record Future and Ed Sheeran and why are they on the same fucking song? ... read more
This might just be one of the best albums released from a battle rapper to date. The highs on this thing are quite enjoyable and aside from one or two dull tracks the lows aren't terrible. All that being, nothing here is insanely memorable just very enjoyable in the moment due to great storytelling on a majority of these tracks. Unfortunately, the beat selection and features on this occasionally are what drag it down from being really great.
