This thing goes, especially right out the gate with 4 really strong tracks starting the album off. The only downside is slightly after the halfway mark following Midnight Sky the completeness of the tracks seems to fall off. There are great ideas on the last half there is just something with each track whether it be snoozy instrumentals or interesting lyrical choices that throw each song off slightly making the whole project feel slightly less complete. If it were not for the very solid tracks ... read more
Brand new to this artist and all I can say is WOW is this thing beautiful. I am a total sucker for things anywhere near indie-folk so I knew immediately on the first track I was in for something good. For me what really sells this project is Maple Glider's vocals hitting very pretty high notes while still sounding super crisp. This is all layered over smooth instrumentation as well. If you are a fan of boygenius/Phoebe Bridgers type type music I really recommend giving this a try.

Siri, play "why do white guys from colorado who make vaporwave / ambient love to use japanese in their title like bro you were born in the whitest family you do not speak a single word of that language suck my erect dick you are literally useless to society oh my god 私の太いペニスを吸う AAAAAAAAAAA."
When I saw this release I was initially like "what is Rick doing releasing an album in 2023?" Turns out this man has been releasing music consistently for years and I was just writing him off as the guy who sung "Never Gonna Give You Up." His music from a technical standpoint is extremely solid and Rick's voice is very pleasant to the ears. My main gripe about this listen was just that nothing really wowed me aside from a few moments on a handful of tracks. That being said, ... read more
Always saw this thing as a meme. Turns out it is really good music. Who would have thought?
This thing is so polarizing with me man... On one hand it is the worst thing Lil Wayne has attempted in his entire discography and on the other it is super fun to sing along with doing your best impressions. Looking back this is not the worst rock project to come from a primarily hip hop based artist.
Great acoustic easy listen. Had a very interesting section on the fourth song with a lot of ambient noise I actually enjoyed a lot. Works really well for something in the background to study/game to.
My dad loved this album..... I love this album.... Songbird makes me cry. Crazy to think the band hated each other but made such beautiful music.
The music on this thing is super stellar but uhmm... what made you decide to end the album that way? Didn't want to spoil the user score/track ratings but not surprised to see the interludes where they are.
What's not to love. The instrumental arrangements on this are crazy with an entire hand bell section on the song "Frosti." Bjork vocal ability is also to love, some of my favorite being on the closing track "Unison" just really feeling like a heavenly descent to close the album out. There is a reason this is a must hear.

Fun bedroom background music with chiptune vocals, standard PC music production, and catchy choruses. This project for me feels very much above average but nothing quite as mind blowing as anything off Reflections.
Fav Tracks: Affirmations, Flashback, Staring at the Ceiling

Saw the deluxe has just released for this so I figured I would give the EP a go. Safe to say I did not find this near interesting enough to want to sit through more in the deluxe. The first track highlights very impressive flows from BIA with the wordplay just slightly lacking which made me think this may be an enjoyable listen, but after that first track everything just kind of crumbles. "Don't tell" features a super lazy Juicy J verse over a typical nothing special club ... read more
Ehhh, not unlistenable by any means but it just comes off extremely surface level. There are stories being told in the lyrics on these tracks, especially dark ones on the closing track, but they just feel like ones initial thoughts almost bordering rambling on these topics.
What we ain't gonna do is disrespect this great debut album by FELIVAND. This thing is some really smooth coffee shop esque R&B music that nails the assignment. Packed full of groovy basslines, atmospheric instrumentals, and airy background vocals it really it hard not to drift off into a daydream while listening. Highly recommend trying the track "Where Were You" and giving the whole album a try if you enjoy that.
