Best tom petty album in my opinion, every song on here is just great, I know a lot of people don’t like tom petty because of his voice, but trust me, you’ll get used to it, so anyway this album is one of my favorite albums of all time, refugee is really good, I really love every song but it I had to choose my favorite it would probably be Louisiana rain, it’s a beautiful closer to an amazing album, overall very good album, if you want to get into tom petty, start here
My favorite yes album of all time, and a top 6 album of all time, where do I even begin with this, it has yes’s best songs, every song is peak, the first track is my favorite, but the others are incredible as well, ritual is amazing, I’d say the second to last song is the worst on the album but it’s still amazing. Overall incredible album that needs more love.
I’d say fragile and close to the edge are equally good, I’d probably give the slight edge to close to the edge (get it?) but seriously this is such a peak album, the title track is split into 4 different parts, I’d say part I is my least favorite, it’s still great though, part II is my second favorite, part III I get up I get down, is probably my favorite part of the album, and part IV is great, you and I only is also very peak, Siberian khatru is probably my third or ... read more
Just a little better than the yes album, it’s peak all the way through, even some of the weird short songs I kinda like, my favorite track on here was heart of the sunrise, it’s a beautiful track, my least favorite was probably five per cent for nothing, but for some reason it just fits the album so well, roundabout is an amazing opener to an amazing album, long distance runaround is really great too, south side of the sky is another top tier yes song, overall literally an amazing ... read more
Incredible album, maybe not my favorite yes album but still amazing, every track is good. Starship trooper is in my top 5 yes songs, it was really enjoyable for me.
My least favorite track on the album was the clap, but I still enjoy it. Really good album.
A little better than the debut, but there’s a lot of solid stuff on this one, the worst track here is clear days, but like the debut it’s consistently good, there’s a lot of great tracks here but if I had to choose my favorite it would probably be the title track, overall, very solid second album.
Pretty good debut, every track is at least a 70/100. The thing I really like about this album is that it’s super consistent, it didn’t get boring at times, it didn’t get bad at times, it was just consistently good, the obvious highlight is survival, but I also enjoy looking around and yesterday and today. Overall: very solid debut
Welp, this is my favorite album of all time, this is gonna be a long review so grab some popcorn, when you start the first song titled cluster one you’re gonna hear electromagnetic noise from the solar wind, that then evolves into some soloing from David, it ends off in a nice chill way, you’re probably thinking it’s gonna be a pretty chill and calm album, then the album takes a turn with the second song what do you want from me, it’s another one of my favorite Pink ... read more
I think this is the most underrated album of all time, signs of life is an incredible opener, learning to fly is one of Pink Floyd’s biggest songs, but it’s not my favorite on the album. The dogs of war is a great song, the lyrics are a bit corny though, one slip is another one of my favorites on the album, it’s the poppiest song on the album but in a good way, on the turning away might be my favorite song on the album, yet another movie and round and around are amazing, a new ... read more
This album is basically just a Roger waters solo album, but I do really enjoy it. The post war dream is a great intro to an album about war. They follow that up with your possible pasts, which is one of my favorites on the album. Then theres one of the few, it’s alright, it’s mainly just a short transition song, when the tigers broke free is kinda overrated in my opinion. The hero’s return is solid, the gunners dream is an amazing track that most people consider the best on ... read more
My 4th favorite album of all time, I’m just gonna go through my favorite songs on the album instead of going song by song because there are a lot of songs on this one, in the flesh? Is the opener track and it’s really good, top tier Pink Floyd song. The thin ice is another great one, and how can you forget about another brick in the wall part 2? I mean it’s popular for a reason. Mother is a nice track, I really like goodbye blue sky. One of my turns is one of my favorites, hey ... read more
In my opinion animals is a step down from meddle, DSOTM and WYWH, but it’s still an amazing album. It starts with pigs on the wing 1 which is just a short track. And then dogs comes on and it’s like this is the best song I’ve ever heard (note: it’s not my favorite Pink Floyd song but it’s definitely up there) pigs three different ones follows up dogs, can ya guess why it’s called animals now? Pigs on the wing is another top tier Pink Floyd song, then ... read more
my second favorite album of all time, yep, I think this is better than dark side of the moon, but its not my favorite pink Floyd album...anyways this album starts off with shine on you crazy diamond parts 1 - 5 and DAMN its a perfect song in every way, it starts kinda weird but around the 3 minute mark you'll hear the iconic riff, and it only gets better from there. welcome to the machine is the song that follows, this song is carried by Richard wright in my opinion, that synth solo at the ... read more
where do I even begin with this album, its 42 minutes of the best music you'll ever hear, I love how every song on this album transitions into the next, this is a top 3 album for me, its number 3 if you were wondering, and its not even my favorite album of theirs! so it starts with speak to me, a weird opener that creeped me out the first time I heard it, it then transitions into breathe (in the air) which is a nice short and sweet track, that is then cut off by on the run which might be ... read more
maybe not their best album but still a solid listen, I think every police album is great, this one just happens to be my least favorite, my favorite tracks on this album are, truth hits everybody, I cant stand losing you. my least favorite track was probably hole in my life. overall a pretty good debut.
this might be a hot take but I found this album pretty boring, like it had good songs but I was just so bored while listening to this, all the songs on this album just sound the same, there's really not much I can say about this record other than its boring but solid, my favorite song was either vow or milk, overall its not a bad debut, but its just a little lacking.
this is like more but 10 times better, it starts off with a nice song titled "obscured by clouds" it then transitions into "when you're in" which is just a cool instrumental. bridges burning is the song that follows, which is sung by Richard wright, best song so far, the gold its in the...is absolutely amazing, but it doesnt sound like pink floyd, then we get our first masterpiece on the album, wots...uh the deal, mudmen is the song that follows, its a nice instrumental ... read more
FANTASTIC record, one of these days starts off as a weird ominous song but then picks up after Nick Mason says the line "one of these days I'm going to cut you into little pieces". they follow that song up with a chill acoustic track titled "a pillow of winds". then there's fearless its an amazing and cool track, nothing more to say about it really. San Tropez is a nice Richard wright tune, Seamus is just Seamus, and then echoes, the best song on the album and ... read more
atom heart mother opens up with a 23 minute song titled "atom heart mother suite" its pretty cool and its split into 6 sections, atom heart mother is followed up by a nice calm song called "If" which is an underrated pink Floyd track if you ask me, that is then followed up by Richard wrights "summer 68" not to be confused with Bryan Adams summer 69, then there's fat old sun which is my favorite song on the album, the guitar solo is legendary and the vocals ... read more
