What is there to say about this album? Punchy and soft, aggressive and tender, faster but slower. The greatest rock album of all time

A certified classic, this album is so smoothly produced that in the more loud parts everything sounds immaculate. Some of the best drumming you'll ever find features here
This album somehow manages to be too playful to take seriously but not funny enough to make a good joke. Damn near unlistenable 80s garbage that's too dated to be bothered about. JOS Days is great though
Would be comfortably better than Imaginal Disk if the second half didn't drag it down

The first five tracks are all solid 10/10. Besides from a few less interesting songs on the second half, this is a near perfect album. Decent to strong 9
Ever since their inception, Future Islands have always been an easy shot for critics. From mixing and production to originality, there is a consensus that the band could have done something greater and made a project for the ages.
