Franz Ferdinand - Franz Ferdinand
86

Arctic Monkeys if they were miles better at all aspects of music
on a more serious note though wow i had such a good time listening to this album, such a fun, high energy record, so many bangers
also want to give a special mention to the first 4 songs… what an amazing run

Interpol - Turn on the Bright Lights
79

I think it’s the vocals
the instrumentals are great but there’s just something stopping me from really enjoying this album fully
i find myself enjoying the slower more emotional songs more since it suits his voice better for me

quannnic - Stepdream
85

yeah man this things pretty damn good, heavy noise rock shoegazey stuffs, loved how powerful it is. also Jophiel was so cool had some deftones numetal type vibe to it

Lauryn Hill - The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill
83

you can tell why this is a classic, love the blend of hip-hop RnB and soul on here. the outros can get a little long and annoying, would probably be better as skits so the individual songs are nicer to listen to, but on a whole the album was very smooth and i had enjoyable experience throughout.

92

why did i put this album off for so long…
BANGER after BANGER after BANGER with NO BREAKS
such an enjoyable listen
the first half is diabolically good

Radiohead - Hail to the Thief
84

Radiohead find themselves in a sort of a transition period here, not quite able to make such an instant change as they did previously in their discography. They find themselves in a limbo between the Kid A era and In Rainbows, some tracks really show glimmers of what they were able to create previously, while the rest mostly feels like them trying to take the next step and not taking as big of a stride as they’d like to. And so on the whole, the project finds itself slightly bloated with ... read more

Jockstrap & Taylor Skye - I<3UQTINVU
76

I love jockstrap but this just ain’t my thing lol

dälek - Absence
87

this is basically from filthy tongue 2 but on the whole somehow even darker
not quite as good as it’s predecessor due to a couple of tracks not being quite up to that high standard and it drops off a little towards the tail end but still a great album

my bloody valentine - m b v
81

who listened to ‘nothing is’ and said yeah this shit fire lets release it

Slauson Malone 1 - EXCELSIOR

Roger Waters - The Dark Side of the Moon Redux
30

yeah it’s pretty bad
like it’s not THAT bad
but it’s pretty fuckin bad

Ken Carson - A Great Chaos
57

it’s an improvement but let’s calm down here guys it’s not that good

Westside Gunn - And Then You Pray For Me
55

not quite as bad as i’ve seen it being made out to be but oh my is it mid as fuck

Drake - For All The Dogs
56

I really enjoyed Drake’s FATD to begin with but it got old kinda quickly

underscores - Wallsocket
82

Wallsocket is another artistic leap in Underscores’ catalogue, seeing her delve into even more interesting and unique pockets. Underscores’ musical prowess is definitely on show here with a few songs boasting impressive instrumental tricks. However, that immediate click and addictiveness found on some of her previous work seems to have been slightly lost. Despite this, Wallsocket remains a very solid release from this year and deserves a spotlight, especially in the scene it finds ... read more
