Incredible pop album front to back
absolutely magical listen
masterful production with ethereal vocals
some really cool highlights here, especially the 2nd track
very cool post rock album that is grand and powerful
this thing is almost entirely absolutely awful, with kudi’s writing and delivery both massively under-par which is especially highlighted when the features mostly deliver. the album has some redeemable (tolerable) songs like ‘WOW’ but even then they are nothing special. oh and its also colossally bloated like most mainstream rap albums these days for some reason.
‘Dungeon Rap: The Evolution’ is the successor to ‘Dungeon Rap: The Introduction’ which was a pioneer in the ‘Dungeon’ genre which gets its name from the first of the two albums.
Originating from eastern Europe and spreading across the continent, the genre combines dark ambient with memphis rap instrumentals alongside the occasional dark synth and guitar tones reminiscent of bands such as Low.
This album creates a haunting atmosphere with a consistent lineup ... read more
yeah very very solid thom record, not a massive amount to say its just exactly what you’d expect and thats more than enough from thom
a very consistent, pretty, emotional and intricate album. A great listen that was very enjoyable
very cool hip hop record i can see why this is considered an underground classic, super consistent and slick back to front with brilliant production and pretty great rapping
very solid post punk stuff! the highlights are great, some meh moments but overall a great listen

can’t believe i checked out muse when i was first getting into rock, making me put this off for so long
but here we are, Muse. this thing is a powerful rock album that is consistently solid, with the first half being consistently brilliant
i’d never heard of ‘emoviolence’ before but somehow this album falling under that genre makes total sense
this thing is an extremely consistent emo album, creating it’s gloomy atmosphere excellently while also being so passionate. the instrumentation on this thing is top tier
being a big fan of 2023s ‘Food for Worms’ it’s only right i look back to shame’s previous work and ‘Songs of Praise’ definitely holds its weight. their debut album offers a more consistent and a harder post-punk and rock sound rather than a more art-punk approach which works very well. I don’t think the highs are as high as Food for Worms but this is still a very solid piece of music!
so incredibly fun and infectious with some hilarious writing, Cave World is a groovy listen who’s highlights are some wonderful bits of punk
this album is great apart from the one small issue which is the fact that Dean Blunt cannot sing
i just want to eat this album cover
doesn’t help that they’re called lemon jelly
