I really do appreciate the effort that has been built into this LP. However, I was really disappointed for some reason. There is a formula from the last LP that quite struck me, metaphors and catchy hook. This album is subpar on so many levels that it's almost annoying, you are not even halfway on the album and the track you are listening to. I mean, she has the potential to grow as an artist but don't stick to the pastel drama club cliche.

I would love to have softer moments with Esme. I want to hear Ezra on a simpler tune ballad like Perfume Genius' Put Your Back N 2 It, but as raw as these tracks. Nonetheless, I can say that this is still a good album, I just don't find it compelling enough to hold me in.
