Three records in from these guys & im yet to be disappointed. Uncompromising heaviness mixed with poetic lyricism. With some more variety here especially. Can’t wait to delve farther into their discography & see what they’ve got coming up.

This one requires listen upon listen, I still don't think this will be my final rating. It's true I've never heard an album quite like this one.
2nd EDIT: Don’t ask me my opinion on this album I love it but I’m also not in love it. After 5 listens, this is the best I can offer
Tricot shows how one could streamline their sound into a more approachable package, while retaining every bit of the fun/approachable pop elements that they've picked up over the years along with their math rock sensibilities. The album breezes by for its 40 minute run time, with plenty of infectious hooks and slick instrumentals.
Amity are back and have served up a much more refined sound than what their last record tried to implement with its electronics.
The piano serves as a much more fitting combination with the rest of the band. As well as the pop elements they’ve decided to test the waters with. Give Amity a much needed breathe of fresh air, the heavy elements are also here and brought to life better then previous efforts did.
