I can't rate this but I sure as hell enjoy it. It's an album full of comfy swagger, the perfect companion to a drive or a Gran Turismo session. Fun!
The least FJM album so far, yet his most personal one, in my eyes. Not that being personal makes it a better album, but there's a sincerity that shines brighter than the humorous layers one has become familiar with from FJM.
I'm a sucker for the pastiche that's embodied here, so I was already head over heels with this album's direction, and think it's used to its fullest potential without ever leaving it do all the talking on its own, which seems to be the norm whenever an artist decides ... read more
