Are we seriously about to get another AOTY from Danny? Shit is menacing and cold. I love it
OMG guys 😍
I found a really good anime album 🤓☝️
I forgot what the anime is called, though 🤔
I think it's called Naruto 😄
I absolutely love the Bocchi The Rock anime. For someone who rarely has the time to sit down and watch some anime, I'm really glad I took the time to watch this. It's super fun, and it has the most relatable character of all time. So when I found out that there was an album connected to the anime, I was super excited to check out. And I'm glad I did. Much ... read more
Yes, I'm very late to the party, but at least I'm here
I first heard of TURQUOISEDEATH when they collabed with Souza on the song Perfect Timing. I absolutely loved that track. Souza killed the amazing boom bap beat TURQUOISEDEATH cooked death. Shortly after, TURQUOISEDEATH would release Se Bueno. Right from the very beginning, I saw people give very positive reviews for this album, which had me hype to check this album out. Although, for whatever reason, I didn't. I don't ... read more
I remember a time when I absolutely loved AJR. I thought they were creative, relatable, and emotional. I was the type of guy to hate anyone who didn't like AJR. These days, I don't feel that anymore. I completely forgot what makes AJR good or unique. Listening to back to their albums kind of made me realize how bad a lot of their songs were. I feel the same way about The Maybe Man. While it's definitely their best album, it still has those cliche moments AJR pretty much stick with. I'll start ... read more
Heaven knows I've said some cursed ass shit 😔
I've heard of PinkPantheress so many times before, but I never checked her for one stupid reason: she had a song with Ice Spice. Now, I don't hate or despise Ice Spice, but it started to get annoying when she was constantly being talked about everywhere I went. It's to the point where I didn't check anything Ice Spice related. It's stupid, but that's how bad it got. However, seeing the love and praise for ... read more
ITS = Integrated Tail Sex
Another great and weird album from Aesop Rock. Much like Spirit World Field Guide and Labor Days, ITS is a concept album. That concept being about an organization that is able to offer a "lifestyle and industry-specific applications designed to curate a desired multi-experience." In simple terms, this probably means that this organization is able to improve your lifestyle by applying technology to our lifestyle. However, it seems like Aesop may be against ... read more
The Impossible Kid is the best album of all time. I mean, there's literally a track about a cat named Kirby
Hot take or not, I think The Impossible Kid is Aesop's best album. Don't get me wrong, Aesop's previous albums, especially Labor Days, are really good and have so many things to love about them. But when it comes to this album, there's something about it that feels nice to listen to. I think most of that feeling comes down to the production and lyrics. The production on this album is ... read more
Eminem, but better... I think
Aesop Rock is such an interesting rapper. I think when it comes to abstract hip-hop in general, both Billy Woods and Aesop are the kings of it. Both of them have some deep and very confusing lyrics, and both have such a distinct rap flow and voice. That's why I've been interested in them. They're different from everything else I've heard but in the best way possible. They just bring something new to the table that most people can't offer, which brings us to Labor ... read more
Thank you, @ConcreteCastles, for sharing your album with me :)
Yet another beautiful ambient and colorful album from Opals. While it's pretty similar to the previous album, Shimmering, it's also quite different from it. Shimmering, to me, sounded a lot more smoother. There was rarely a moment where the production became distorted or rough. On Diffractions, it's the opposite. The production is a lot more "dirty" and rough, which is a critique, as it actually is a benefit for the album ... read more
Original Review: The idea of dying and seeing your family mourn is already tragic. The production and lyrics also help with elevating how sad this scenario is.
As of writing this, we're already at 590 followers. I really appreciate the support, and sorry for the long wait 😅
A lot of personal things came up, which I will talk about at the end of the review, and of course, I have school. I always make my personal life my first priority before anything else. Still, I'm thankful for ... read more
Brief Review:
I mean, it's not bad, but I didn't get anything out of this
I can't lie to ya'll. When I heard the singles for this upcoming album, I was not interested. They were really generic, production wise, and sounded like an IGOR ripoff, but done plainfully. It's disappointing because I love Kevin Abstract and what he did for BROCKHAMPTON. I also saw him as one of the members who could pull off an amazing solo career. But here we are with Blanket, and as ... read more

Tkay Maidza did not disappoint me with this album. While I was a little worried about where she was going to go after the amazing Last Year Was Weird series, the singles she released just slapped me in the face at full force and told me not to worry. All 5 singles were incredible and are definitely the highlights of the album. My favorite of the 5 has to be Silent Assassin. The production from Flume is killer, pun intended, and Tkay's attitude just adds some bad boy ... read more
Thank you, @Malneezy, for sharing your EP :)
This is my favorite project from Malneezy so far. I feel like the harsh sound that was present in previous projects is fully realized and fleshed out on Whatever, It's Fun. It also feels a lot more colorful and unique. Pretty much every track on this EP is memorable for specific reasons. But I think the highlights for me have to be Never Date An Artist and Terribly Formed Dynamics. I love how harsh the first few seconds of NDAR are, and somehow, the ... read more
Shout out to @CadeGilbert for showing me his friends track :)
Pretty good song. I love how simple and chill the instrumentation is. It kind of gives me Blur vibes. The singing could be better, but for the most part, it fits the track and gets the job done. Overall, Milkbone is a well-rounded track. While it does have room for improvement, it's an overall nicely put-together folk track. Thank you, Cade, for sharing this track with me, and nice job on the cover art. Fits the sound of the song.
Smooth ass R&B song. The production is great, and Tkay's singing is hypnotic and catchy. I'm really hyped for this new album
A big step up in the SCRAPYARD series, in my opinion. The production is really great and is an overall vibe. My favorite track has to be DUSTCUTTER. It's so weird, but I love it. I'm really liking the direction Quadeca is taking with his music, not doing the same thing from IDMTHY but also taking some elements from it.
Original Review: Wow. This was an experience. I've been meaning to check this album out, but with all the new music coming, both good and bad, it had just been slipping through my mind, until now. And yeah, this album is something. How do you even explain this album? I guess all I can say is that it sounds like a drug trip. Like someone is experiencing a bad hangover that they are used to. It's a horrifying album that slowly pulls you in and puts you in a trance. It's also really depressing for ... read more
Really Brief Review:
Now, this is what I was expecting to hear from Sampha. While I did like Lahai, there's something about some standard R&B that just feels good. It either makes you feel like you're driving in the streets late at night or makes you feel like you're ascending to heaven. For me, it feels like both. The production is so smooth yet kind of sad. Tracks like Blood On Me and No One Knows Me are tracks that fit that whole vibe. They are simple but really beautiful. And, of ... read more
