Absolutely horrible, pointless, dreadful music. Full of bullsit and nonsense and random egregious words about sex just thrown together to make a rhyme with a dance pop production from the whitest club in New York City in the whitest romance movie of the 2000s about a playboy. What the hell is this. This is terrible. No catchy melody at all, just absolute nonsense
I really did not expect to like this album. Jennie not only breaks free of the kpop stereotype, but while doing so seems independent lyrically while carried by inventive production and concepts. I also must admit that the collars do carry the album for the most oart good for her for choosing the right people to work with. The whole album is pretty cohesive, have this sort of industrialist sound at times but the RnB throughout the album is pretty chill and vibey that I do enjoy. If anyone ... read more
Ichiko Aoba's talent and voice makes for an enchanting listen. The simplicity of it all, while her voice maintains this lullaby-like cadence which allows anyone listening to this album to simply take a break and simply float. An amazing and soothing album. Production wise it's so calm and peaceful, perfectly capturing the feeling of being underwater, at a beach, just chilling. Beautiful! Idk what she is saying but I'm sure it's beautiful
Gaga is back with perhaps the strongest of her work since the fame monster, with this album being some culmination of all her previous albums and sounds, country, jazz, and pop all combined into one album. The album takes you on a slow descent of a journey, from the eclectic highs to a soft and slow pop-rock ending, it keeps you waiting on what you would expect next from each song. The first 5 songs bring in the energy that we have all been anticipating from Gaga but the second half of the ... read more
you know... this album really did have some potential but now that I think about it its prob from the collaborators. the album;s concept is sooo cliche and overdone but the production on some of the songs (particularly new woman, born again) slap! this suffer from the same syndrome that rosie suffers from, cliche songwriting. mid.
Okay, I see the sort of appeal that this album has. It's a vibe, has a great atmosphere, and is pretty lively, and she loves having sex. I do wish for her to switch up the sound on some songs or add some elements to different songs, e.g some electric guitar or not use an 808 for one song so the whole album doesn't blend in together. The album does have some bops and standouts and I like the 2000s Britney pop influences but it feels too like she is trying to hard to turn some songs ... read more
I think it's safe to say Drake is neevr ever making good music ever again. This whole album is mixed subpar-ly, with incredible bland melodies and production. The lyricism sounds like the diary of a really insecure teenager and only longs for this artificial sense of sex and love. Production is incredibly bland but I didn't expect much from PARTYNEXTDOOR and drake. The vocals are auto-tune so horribly for what reason? It doesn't seem to make anything better and just make the ... read more
One of the best live and remix albums ever created. The way Daft punk creates this amazing energy and set through a bunch of, to be honest, mid songs from human after all, and terrific songs from discovery and homework to create this mega long Daft Punk ultra song, is frankly amazing and genius. The way they can find the transitions and links between each song is so fun to point out and notice and also, with the live audience, adds to the ambience.
I feel it's a great pop song, but it's lyrically weaker than diet Pepsi and Aquamarine and also it's a slower more vibier song than diet Pepsi or the house beats in aquamarine
Choke Enough is a new album with a major cult following. And just like many albums with major cult followings like In Rainbows, Blonde, Electra Heart, it is incredibly overrated. Choke Enough is the first album from French singer Oklou and it is.... an interesting one. Theres one thing that I will give to her about the album. Although the album lacks many production points, highlights are thin, vocals drowned in reverb and has a Bladee feature, it ultimately has one thing every artist should ... read more
Pumping bass and sexual desires is what fuel this album and it works incredibly well. Kelela showcases her vocal ability and also giving her fresh take on rnb and pop music with this UK bass album
This is amazing! So enthralling and engaging as a folk album, maintaing it's playful and banter through its production while leaving me to think on every entendre that Joanna hides in every lyric. The strings are stunning, with the harp providing the needed support to lift up the atmosphere of every song. The vocals that she provides, very bjork-like, a distinct raspy and airyness while still have a unique "texture to it". This album feels like a magical adventure through the ... read more
Lets put it bluntly. For a last album, I think this could've been better executed. The sound of this album is cohesive and momentarily interesting at most points, but there are some awful and strange tracks that stick out like Sao Paulo. Also the whole album is too long and draggy to be able to withstand his voice fore 1 and a half hours. It suffers from cowboy carter syndrome, a great concept, of which to send off himself and his career, with great traditions and subbing 80s style synth ... read more
I love the rage and terror of this album, blended together with the different trip-hop and psychedelic elements scattered throughout each song. The songwriting is very open ended, giving a lot of ways to interpret and I love it! And amazing album about self destruction, love and life and definitely one of the best metal albums I've ever listened to. I hope their other work is as good
An amazing, experimental and sexually charged album that still remains incredibly fresh and full of bops. Glitch pop is a highlight throughout this album, with Twigs successfully getting me to move everytime she tries something with it. Everything about this album feels incredibly freeing to me! This really is the pinnacle of the human experience, but maybe only towards the more complicated side of oneself. Love the beat switches
