I have never wished for an album to just be over more than here. To be clear, it's not just because it's over an hour (I've listened to Songs in the Key of Life for Pete's sake). Well, what a nice birthday present. Pusha and Malice are back and taking off like they never stopped (especially Malice). The incredibly tight rhymes and wordplay that defined Clipse is omnipresent here with their trademark brand of sophisticated drug bars and lavish lifestyle brags. A lot of cool production here by both Kanye and Pharrell as well as some really good songs like "Dreamin' of the Past" and "Diet Coke". I don't know if I have anything in me to look at an album this raw and vulnerable and rooted in real genuine grief and criticize it. Other people may be stronger than I, and if that's you then you are more than valid to do so. As someone who just got married and also someone with clinical depression, this hurts. Like, really hurts. Going to hug my wife tighter tonight.

A sign of a great album to come and a great track in its own right. Must have been very reassuring to hear this after The Grey Chapter.

Oh we are so back. After the alright but misguided .5 The Gray Chapter, Slipknot is back with another truly good album. There's some really heavy hitters here like "Unsainted", "Critical Darling", and "Nero Forte" feel like the band picks right back up after All Hope Is Gone and returns to their classic, heavier sound but with a bit of a new twist for the new project. No disrespect directed towards Jay Weinberg, who is a great drummer credited with great consistency in his playing (I haven't heard enough of V-Man's basslines to get a proper opinion). Good fucking lord. Comedy songs that aren't funny remain one of the worst kinds of music out there and oh my god was I not even close to smiling the whole duration of this dreck. Credit to Liam Donovan's video for uncovering this mess.

A beautiful testament to the life, efforts and image of David Bowie. Everything here pays their respects to an absolute legend. I came here after relistening to the G-Eazy version and that makes this version feel even more powerful and epic and well constructed and the other version even more ass.
