Wasn't expecting to enjoy this over their other projects but holy shit is it good
Generic pop slop made for a movie that was crafted to appeal to the worst audiences imaginable.
Every song after Lonely Cosmos sounds like Lonely Cosmos. Overall, a pleasant listen
Both Andy and Biggs are phenomenal vocalists, and they can mix together so beautifully. It's a shame that so many songs on this album follow a cookie-cutter screamed-verse, clean-chorus format that ruins their dynamic. That's my main complaint: songs like "House of Light" are on par with "Where Owls Know My Name."
They just keep getting better and better. Moonlapse Vertigo might be the best I've heard from them so far
For an album that is clearly trying so hard to be super unique and unpredictable with its sound, nothing really stands out or is memorable. Overall, a massive downgrade from Take Me Back to Eden both audibly and visually (I miss the little cryptid dudes). Anyways, King Gizzard is dropping tomorrow, who's hyped!
Been searching for some good stoner/doom/sludge stuff the past couple of days, and this is definitely the best I've heard so far
I can see myself revisiting several tracks, just never the entire album in one sitting again.
I've never really experienced the vibes this album can portray. Its fun and groovy all while hitting the right emotional beats
Its alright I guess, has Weens weirdness but not enough of the bangers to keep me coming back
An album with an explosive start that loses some steam towards the second half.
