James has finally hit a striking balance of all his sides on this album, and it has resulted in what might possibly be his best work to date.
This is the most pleasant surprise I've had since GNX. I didn't expect this album to be this enjoyable. This is filled to the brim with earworm Hip Hop production, charismatic rapping, catchy refrains and just overall great flow. It's so warm, nice, textured and eclectic in a great way.
this was a cool listen, i think it's been so long since i've heard asap with this precision and quality. this to me is his best since long live asap
idc about any other tracks, but the Don't Look Down remix with Santhosh Narayanan, Dhee and Hanumankind is amazing. Santhosh Narayanan is one of the best music directors of south India and he transforms the bland original pop time into something beautiful. Hanumankind didn't really fit in well, but other than that, good job.
can't say the same for the other tracks tho... my rating is strictly for that track alone lol
Ok. The aesthetic, Sonically and the production is executed well. But, Not sure if i love it as a track.
The Production is sterile and overproduced like on Butter. The elements sound like they are fighting with each other. But, The Vocals are even worse this time. Ugh..... It makes my hair stand in a bad way. It sounds like it was completely made by A.I
The vocals get more and more annoying with relistens. I hated this. Im sorry. Id rather listen to Dynamite.
Okay. I loved this. The Songwriting is compelling and vocals are emotive and the production is likeable. Also, I can see this grow on me more on repeat listens.
This reminds me so much of SHE. I loved SHE so, Obviously i love this too. Also, Why did i get a dream that, Frank Ocean will be on this album. If he is, Im gonna lose my mind, I swear.
While it does'nt have a memorable tune, Its just a good listen to me, I guess it's a new project coming. I honestly prefer the sound from Headspaces more. But, Lets just wait and see.
It is good, I like it, And im definitely looking forward. The aesthetic he is going is getting me hyped, Especially what he's attempting Visually. With all he's shown right now, This could be his best, Or might be even his worst, It all comes down to how he is going to execute it. I really hope he pulls it off, and Curious for the album.
P.S: It loops well and its pretty dope!
