Peggy’s most abrasive album to date. It captures the in your face and sort of fast paced feeling that LP! failed to capture in my opinion. On LP!, there would be moments where songs would just kinda… be there. But on this record, the loud ass short songs add a great deal to this record, making it feel more alive by comparison. It also has my favorite production for a Peggy album because of the chaotic atmosphere that it creates. Incredible piece of work, only held back by a few ... read more
few mid songs but its not too bad. its a good album, nothing life changing but you could come out of this thing with a few songs.
It has some incredible highs but I don’t like it as much as revolver. There are a few songs here I just don’t care about. Most of the songs I’m on the fence about are still fairly enjoyable though.
Pretty cool trap album. I love metro and most of the features here. The movie definitely has an impact of how I feel about this album but I don’t care. I have fun listening.
Solid album overall. One glaring issue though is how directionless this album feels. For every fleshed out banger showcasing JPEGMAFIA's true talent, there is an underdeveloped track that contributes absolutely nothing to what I enjoy about this album. Had fun though.
very overrated but it has its moments. Second half is better than the first but overall past the great songs it failed to capture much of my attention
who would've guessed he was reading the poem to lil darkie? ba zoing!
Same thing as my 10/10 review of a The Strokes’ “Is This It”, where they aren’t really pushing many boundaries but just sound like they are the best at what they are trying to make. Fuck Morrissey but if I had to be honest he’s probably a top 5 vocalist for me. The slower tracks are great and don’t slow the album down and the more upbeat tracks are a blast. This album makes me feel like I should take pride when I’m alone. It’s kind of great.
If you aren’t having fun while listening to this thing, I don’t know what to tell you. This thing can make anything fun. Sure it’s not challenging what music can be or any other pretentious crap I talk about on this site, but it’s a enjoyable as hell.
Disk One
It’s incredible. I truly think everybody should hear these first 12 tracks. If I were to die tomorrow morning, I would want this to be the last thing I hear.
Best Track: Helpless Child/Volcano
Worst Track: Animus
Disk Two
It’s great in a completely different way than disk one. It’s scary. Lots of points where I feel uneasy in this second half. Not nearly as replayable as the first, and though I think the first is bette, enough is here to help it compare to it.

This thing is amazing. I don’t really fuck with spoken word, and though it took a few listens today to get used to it, this shit fully bangs now.
The voice is definitely a grower, but I think it would work better with a more shoegaze direction. There were hints of it here with the slower tracks -which I loved- but nothing besides that stand too far out.
Very cool but they only get better from here. Few tracks are sorta empty but it’s still a vibe for the most part.
lots to say but this thing is a slog to get through. The whole time I couldn't stop thinking about how I'd much rather listen to Kid A.
There are points on this project that seriously made me consider this being my favorite album of all time.
