Indie pop by way of 80s inspired bands like MGMT and LCD Soundsystem, and to a lesser extent Nine Inch Nails. A bit dated sounding but the songwriting is really strong and the production is fantastic. Also really love the almost shoegazey fuzzy guitar tone throughout and the dual vocals- these elements really make this album stand out from a lot of other pedestrian indie stuff from this time

13 years old and playing FIFA to this almost every day

first (full) listen 28/11/2025. pretty good for a debut album. impressive they already had their own sound (that they ended up experimenting with and developing and ultimately perfecting over the years)
