Halsey really got one of the most creative forces in music of the last 30 years or so to produce her album and STILL came out with a middle of the road, boring pop record. Besides Trent’s immaculate production, “Long Album Name” is literally just more of Halsey’s generic pop, the lyrics probably being way worse than usual, with some truly forced and cringey lines. Everything new and ambitious about this has to do with Trent Reznor and (I believe) Atticus’s ... read more
KOะฏN | CHAPTER THREE
Yeah I’ll be honest here, this album took me awhile to even understand what I felt about it. And when I finally did figure out what I felt, I still don’t think it’s a record that I have much to talk about. It experiments at points, but is still kinda just following the formula set by the first two records, except it’s not as ferocious or as emotional either one of those. This album exceeds LIP because the good songs on here knock most of the good ... read more
Kinda hard to believe Weezer made a Pinkerton song in 2011, but yes, this is an incredibly well made jingle.
Man literally ripped off the drums and riff from Brain Stew by Green Day and called it a day
Old school hip hop rapping, unique vocals, funky and thick bass??????
Faith No More dive anyone?

So here we go. An emo hyper pop EP by Glaive, and I’ve finally actually listened to it. So what do I think? Pretty good, surprisingly. And yes, I know, I’m Implicit Doom, the hyperpop hater, yes yes. But I honestly really think there’s some good tracks on here with catchy and warm production and while I’m not huge on the vocals overall, on the cuts I enjoy the most the vocals ... read more
You can call her Billie Irish, because there’s a famine of anything good on here.
Not overhyping this just because I’m on Kaylon’s label, but this is genuinely incredible. Like the production has this hypnotic build up to it, and while the vocals start out weak, they progress and get better and better. It’s honestly very surprising when listening to their double single from a few months ago. Great work, Minidisc dude.
This is not good man. I understand he made this just to get out of Def Jam, but good god the lyrics on some of these songs. The beats severely carry, but Logic’s writing is so derivative and cringey and generic at points. It’s not fun trap or party music. Thank god this was just made to get out of a label, so we might get another No Pressure after this, or even something better.
A song that simply evokes nostalgia in any person, born in any time period.
This is a perfect rock song. Like literally flawless in every aspect.
Electronic Industrial songs that flow together very well and are definitely not produced by Trent Reznor.
KOะฏN | CHAPTER TWO
So I was conflicted. And honestly, for quite good reason. This album is kind of a mixed bag. Only kind of, because at least the good songs outweigh the bad. But speaking of bad, to change up the format a little bit, let’s go over the negatives first. Okay, so first of all this is honestly pretty boring compared to their debut and last record Korn. The thing is, it also wants to be the debut and capture that lightning in the bottle energy and sound that album had, and ... read more

“ARE YOU READY?!” was the battlecry that would begin a generation of weird, creative and often overlooked losers making heavy music mixed without worrying of genre. But before them, there was Korn.
Korn’s Self Titled debut is an album that revisits a troubled childhood, and often depicts how our narrator Jonathan Davis looks back on these events. When you’re a child it’s scary enough not knowing your place in this world, but having to go ... read more
WEEZER | BONUS CHAPTER
(โ๐๐ข๐ฆ๐๐ค๐ฅ๐๐ ๐๐ช ๐โ ๐ธ)
Yeah uh this was really disappointing guys. I understand it’s unfinished but even the finished parts just weren’t too interesting. Most of this album is snippets meant to go from one song to the next, basically being interludes instead of actual songs. The production is also really bad on a lot of these cuts, and even songs I do like like Blast Off! sound super unfinished with an annoying unmixed and ... read more
TWENTY ONE PILOTS | CHAPTER SIX
“ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐”
You would think that another three year wait would produce another record like 2018’s Trench. But honestly, I’d be lying if I said I was mad.
2021’s Scaled And Icy, being Twenty One Pilots’ seventh studio record, changes the wheel a bit, essentially taking Trench and TØP in general and throwing ... read more
