Boy oh boy where do I even begin. Peggy... honey, my pookie bear. I have loved you ever since I first laid eyes on you. The way you drive into the paint and strike fear into your enemies eyes. Your silky smooth touch around my body, and that gorgeous beard. I would do anything for you. I wish it were possible to freeze time so I would never have to watch you retire. You had a rough childhood, but you never gave up hope. You are even amazing off the mic, you're a great husband and father, ... read more
amazing highs on this project and nothing really stands out as being terrible. infectious production and deliveries, and was pleasantly surprised on how amazing all the features sounded
looking at the cover gives this feeling of bittersweet nostalgia. the lyrics and beat just reinforce it even more
haven't heard much of this pink floyd dude but he makes some pretty good music. can't wait for the insufferable 0 bombers that send this single into purgatory (i think its already starting).
feed me please. also the image live performance at triple j bangs too btw if you havent checked it out
ngl rappers on synth wave beats sound so good what the fuck ππ don’s part was auto tuned to hell but i loved doja’s part so much and her chorus she had with don

dare i say coldplay's most innovative album?
coldplay, discography dive #4. it's been a while. relistened to a rush of blood to the head and deecided i needed a little more coldplay in my life. anyways, i loved a lot of the songs on this album. instrumentation lush and enjoyable, lyrics are extremely cohesive, and viva la viva is an amazing centerpiece to this album.
liked part 1 a little more than part 2. guess i'm not that type of person to like abrasive music that much. there were higher highs on part 2 tho.
part 1: 91
part 2: 84
avreage: 87.5 -> 88
out of all the rage artists that's emerged over the last few years, yeat's been the most versatile and innovative to me (he even produces his own shit, which is impressive). his voice is actually enjoyable while hitting notes i've never heard many rappers hit, and the production is varied and quite rich, especially in rage music. i feel like the lyrics are what drags him down the most, but like... it's rage music. who cares. can't wait for the new yeat album. drop the ... read more
this album scratched something in my brain no album ever did before. the feeling you get when listening to is really hard to translate to words. it's warm, fuzzy, weird, mind-altering, and reality-bending. the cover helps convey these feelings well too. i find this album hard to put on a playlist though because of how different it is to everything else.
a lot of amazing highs, but still a lot of rough patches in my opinion. that's the beauty of an experimental hip hop record. i think hacker raised the rating for me by at least 5 points though
my ears are ringing and i'm only on track 8. sorry but it's not music if it hurts your ears and the producers are putting in so much more effort than the actual artist. i wanted to see carti on these beats so much more with the manic energy he had on songs like "POP OUT", it would probably cater to him so well, and I don't even like carti's voice. ken carson's vocals are just autotuned garbage that tries to mask the sheer absence of effort that he puts in his ... read more
a slow-burning listen that demands great attention from the listener. otherwise, many can find this album to be sleepy. i sort of felt sleepy during listening but the way cole said "almond milk" in folding clothes actually made me laugh. an amazing story-telling project and in my opinion, cole's strongest work. has some of his best tracks here too, like 4yeo, an amazing 9-minute swan song to close this album off perfectly.
and yeah, 4yeo = samidot
